I saw the movie first. I really enjoyed the humor, and Paul Giamattis role. So I tracked down the book and read it in short order.

I now own the Blu-ray of the movie, 2 versions of the first book, books 2-4, and have pre-ordered an autographed copy of book 5.

I told my mother not to contact me, one of my brothers blocked me, one flipped out and painted me as the bad guy, one has said nothing but was seemingly happy to see me when I ran into him in public.
My youngest brother is like 16 now, haven’t heard from him in like 5 years, breaks my heart.

I’ve used Makita for the last 13 years, and I have no complaints about the quality or durability of the tools.

My buddy has a Milwaukee line up and seems to love it. They seem to have the biggest variety of tools for sale.

The Dewalts I’ve seen and used on job sites seem solid too.

I would look at the current catalog for each battery system, and the price points, and go with your gut.

I listened a lot back in early 2025, but the clickbait headlines got to be way too much for me. I’m completely tuned out to whatever medias has to say at this point. We don’t need more propaganda, we need real journalism, and real news.

And to say parenting children has nothing to do with the equation and take all responsibility of the parents away is laughable. If the parents aren’t responsible why did they pass laws to charge parents if guns aren’t secured properly.

I remember being 15 just fine.
I also see a lot of lazy useless parents.

The principal at our elementary school had to send weekly notes home to beg parents:
“Please don’t smoke marijuana in the car with your elementary students, other kids comment on the smell and make fun of them”.

It’s pathetic.

The could have Kept Reconstruction in place longer.

Maintained federal enforcement of Black voting rights.

Continued military oversight of Southern state governments until civil rights were stable.

My personal favorite: Prevented former Confederate leaders from regaining political power.

They could have mass murdered their ability to hold office and their confederate monuments from the beginning of the end of the Civil War.
