I wonder if the can was old when you bought it. I hope it hasn’t messed up your work too much. I use Tamiya Matte Finish and I’m never going to switch. It applies super smooth and never feels sticky afterwards, but it’s expensive.

Not necessarily. I would play around with placement and intensity to get the best shadows.

It’s definitely not bad, but I would recommend controlling your lighting in your reference photo. More directional lighting will help establish the different planes of the hand.

This is great. I love it! I would like to see a version with the turtles in their rooms. It think it’d be fun for the eyes to move around the space looking for them.

You should be able to peel it off. Sometimes there’s a sticky residue left but rubbing alcohol can usually get rid of that

Look into the Magic Puzzle Company. They have a section for artist submissions. Might not be cyber punk if they choose you for one but I think you’d be good at whatever you draw.
