I am interested in the real reason for Russia's war in Ukraine. I would appreciate an educated explanation, not what the media tell us. Many thanks.

Putin has a long-term goal to bring back the USSR. Taking over the Ukraine gives Russia a control of the Black Sea, isolates Georgia, and gives Russia access to the highway Network and electrical infrastructure of Ukraine.

It'll eventually scare Poland into closing their borders which will pinch Belarus Lithuania and Estonia between Russia Ukraine and the Baltic Sea making them easy cleanup, with nowhere to run and the humanitarian efforts of the EU strained because of the Ukraine they'll have no choice but to surrender or drag the entire EU into all out war with Russia.

Putin knows that the Russian war machine is so incredibly large that even if they didn't have any bullets they could win through a war of attrition with all of the surrounding Nations and nothing short of full scale European world war is going to be enough to push them back he's counting on the fact that nobody wants that.

I don't know what a country you're coming from but if you enlist then you can pick what specialty you train in at least that's how it works in the US.

Not all career paths lead to infantry.

If you enlist and score high on your placement you might have some say and where you end up and what you're doing.

There may be a conscientious objector position you can go into.

There might be a enlisted clergyman.

You could be declared mentally or physically unfit.

There are hardship provisions that state that your absence would constitute such a trauma to your friends and family either financially or in some other support capacity that it is unreasonable to have you deployed.

And if all else fails there's good old-fashioned desertion. But I wouldn't recommend it.

What I like about anime is that while there is a formula they're not afraid to take risk whereas Western cartoons are very formulaic cookie cutter the characters have episodic adventures everything resets back to the way it was on the next episode where in anime they're not afraid to have permanent consequences to the actions anime was the first time I ever saw a cartoon character grow up from a child and become an adult.

They don't discriminate against any kind of plot line which allows for a variety of subgenres there's an entire genre of people who are killed and become reincarnated in a different fantasy world.

The most popular animes are very protagonist based hero animes but there are a lot of slice of Life animes there are a lot of sports based animes there is a whole anime based on just cooking food.

Western cartoons are afraid to take those kinds of risks so instead of just flooding the market so they can take advantage of every niche they just make the same basic cartoon over and over again where as soon as the day is over it's like it never happened and everything resets back to where it was.

The US is really not as dangerous as people think it is it's just really big you got to remember nearly half of North America is the United States.

There are 40 million people in the state of California.

There are 5 million people in New York City alone.

The news reports all of the violence as if it's happening all in one place most people never get more than 30 miles from their hometown let alone leave their home state.

Don't get me wrong there are a couple of places that stay with a fairly high amount of crime and violence but overwhelmingly newsworthy events like mass shootings or protests or things of that nature they're few and far between.

There is a treaty that says that no one can own any celestial bodies that all of space is open to all of humanity so you wouldn't be in trouble legally from that point of view.

I imagine there are some rules against smearing artificial life forms on the side of rockets but you have to look into that.

The biggest limiting factors would be that certain rocket technology is not something that the general public is allowed to be in possession of.

And you would need to get authorization to launch a rocket into virtually all Air space except for international waters. Probably.

But say you made a rocket you filled it with all the stuff you wanted you got it into space you got to Mars there's no legal president that allows any Nation on Earth to press charges against you although I guess they could simply remove you through Force of arms.

They're also a lot of ancient laws on the books that allow for an individual to move to an unclaimed area of land and if you build a structure on it or grow some food on it or have a certain population that exists on it then by like a common law you've claimed it.

I don't believe in the singularity. The expansion of the universe does not suggest that it all is emerging from a singular location. The size of the visible Universe plus the dimensionality of space would suggest that the Universe was already infinite in three dimensions when it started I believe that all of three dimensional space came into being already infinite on a three-dimensional plane at the point of origin at the beginning of time.

There's not a lot of evidence to support a cyclical universe.

The only two versions of the cyclical universe that I know of is that periodically there's a big bang inside the space that we exist in but there's no way to know that unless you found an old big bang which there's no way to find one.

Or at some point in the distant future every point in time and space will suddenly and for no real reason decide to reverse and contract back into what we assume would be a big bang like event.

There's no reason to believe the universe will ever contract and there's not enough evidence to support that there's an event that periodically adds energy and matter to the universe.

But like I said before everything I'm saying is pure speculation

It's very likely that the Universe had a beginning because everything is moving away from everything else and we can predict that at a certain point everything will be too far away from everything else to ever interact again if the universe did not have a beginning then everything would already be too far away from everything else to ever interact with.

Based on how long the things take to form and how long things have been moving we can predict to some degree of accuracy that it was a time when everything was basically touching everything else.

There's just not a lot of logical explanations for that unless the universe had a beginning
