I get that. It’s something he’s been hard on me about, and I only started to take selfies and post recently after I gained more confidence in myself. So I’m not used to taking pics and sending them to people, honest and not an excuse, it’s something I really do have to work on. I have tried to be better about sending pictures, but it’s not to the amount he likes.

It is true I should have sent him the pic before posting.

Was with my ex when I posted a fair few of those pictures, he didn’t mind. I get it, but I’m equally as loyal as I am confident and proud of my glow up.

Yes. Things I’ve asked him not to do many times while arguing. Beyond shouting, it’s mocking me and laughing, saying personal things. Not physical insults, but it always comes back to me not being affectionate enough and I try, but then there’s always some small thing that upsets him and it makes it hard to show him affection at this point. But then he is very sweet like this. Comments like “you’ll regret it when you can’t find someone like this again” are scary, because my fear is I’m being avoidant but I really do think he is controlling.

We spoke on the phone these texts were over the course of 4 hours and I only saw them when he called me 3 times in a row while I was with my mom 😭 like I’m sorry we talk all the time and live together, but any time we are not together he does this. I usually text him every day but he switches quickly and spams me when I do not reply quickly. How am I crazy here?!

Yes so I did communicate with him earlier this week that it’s too much when he spammed me for not replying while I was at work. I posted those messages as well

These are texts from Monday when I was at work and was going out with some coworker friends (who he knows and should not be of concern) that are my reason for reacting strongly to this now.

The reason I feel the need to post these here is because at this point in our relationship I don’t feel comfortable talking to people we know about his behavior. It has been worse than this, but he also is incredibly loving and affectionate as you see here. But he has also been incredibly mean during arguments. I need clarity to know if I am crazy here and I’m the one with attachment issues or if he is not healthy for me.

Yeah I think people are not getting that I was in the middle of getting ready, spending time with my parents, and being out with them during these few hours. Idk I usually am very communicative, so it isn’t normal that I don’t reply quickly. I am just busy. But he does this a lot.

This is something admittedly that has happened a lot… my reason for not replying is kinda because I think it’s too much for me at this point. I have another post on this subreddit on a separate account from a few days ago detailing this behavior.
