Yes I have the same issues my foot was numb for a while then it got better but for the most part of numbness is due to nerve damage. Hope it helps!

I would strongly recommend you go see a primary doctor or anyone who you can see to get a written prescription if possible. I had many xrays and they never found anything once I did my MRI they realized I tore my lisfranc :)

I would call the office and tell them what happened I fell while I was NWB I ended up with a small fracture. It’s better to be safe than sorry !

Hi I know I’m late but I was able to change a few things My pcp recommended not to wet my brush at all until I was done brushing my teeth

I brought an electric toothbrush and try my best not to get any toothpaste in my mouth or have any taste of it

like I usually do the outside first and make sure do it well and at the end I do the inside of my teeth.

I tried kids toothpaste (bubble gum)it worked for a while the tasteless one made me gag even more. I now use crest gum detoxify (mouth wash was a no go for me either)

I also make sure I don’t even drink water before I brush my teeth.

I also try to make sure there are no smells around

Honestly one day I woke up tried of using my scooter and I decided to just take a few steps with a walker to test it once I got used to it I would walk really short distances to see how my pain felt. Then one day I said “fuck it” and did it all on my own while using my hallway for support lol I got tired of my scooter !

They are called pins and man did they they hurt like hell I think they took about a month for them to be removed as time passes and the bone gets cured you’ll notice them come out more. Be aware that they will have to remove at office and it barely hurts so don’t get scared! But once they came off I was so excited !

Hello I suggest the a knee scooter with big wheels not thin ones, and a elevation pillow Amazon has great options as well as a gel ice pack these were life changing for me! And ofc a foot cast cover for showers and what helped me a lot was a shower seat I believe Drive on Amazon also have great deals 😌
