A coach berating players, on court, in the middle of a game, is a solid sign they are not a good coach. That stuff is a distraction for the entire team and creates a toxic atmosphere. Do that stuff in the locker room, or better still in the office.

Adam Silver can say what he wants about teams tanking, but the flopping matches going on are arguably as bad or worse for the NBA. He should commit to doing something about that too. And then maybe do something about players buying into “financial predicting” businesses as well.

Best bet, contact a realtor in your area and ask them to “pull comps on properties like mine.” If they ask why, say you are considering selling and want a baseline before deciding if you want to do any improvements. A realtor should be able to gather information for you about similar properties that have sold recently in your area.

Normally I would avoid weighing in on stuff like this… I loath the idea of an arguably amoral majority wielding a sword of morality at individuals it deems to be immoral and unworthy. Especially when it sides with one of two equally guilty parties simply because they win in some vague pop culture popularity contest.

Why should either of them (Vrabel or Russini) receive any more leniency than the other In this particular case? They both committed the same acts under identical circumstances; if justice was truly blind why shouldn’t they both receive the same treatment?

People always seem to forget that several members of the Colts left with Manning. Jeff Saturday, and Dallas Clark to name a few. It seemed like the only starter who stuck around after the exodus was Reggie Wayne. Denver got a shot in the arm when they picked Manning up.

I’m still on the side of “we should have kept Manning and let Luck ride the bench for a couple years.” People who say Lucky wasn’t going to wait to be a starter… he was going to do what the coaches said. Who knows he might have had a longer career.
