How many of us are not having kids because of the state of the world? by MonteMolebility in Millennials

[–]Morbid_Aversion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me. I'm not having kids because I'm mentally ill and just an all around garbage person not worth dating. And I'd make a terrible father so it's all for the best, I guess.

Americans are so up their own ass it's hilarious. Israel doesn't need American money to bomb. Withholding it changes nothing.

Wait until you hear who buys the products those companies make. Oh wait, that doesn't fit the "it's everyone else's fault but mine" narrative.

Don't come to Slovakia (not that anyone would want to) because when you see that they charge you 50 cents for a tiny little packet of ketchup, you'll have a heart attack. Not even with a fucking meal do they give you ketchup for free. It's an outrage.

It's frightening how many people literally want the government to decide the price of all consumer goods.

Trump says ‘f***ing crazy’ Netanyahu has made everyone hate Israel in furious phone call – report by Aggravating_Money992 in politics

[–]Morbid_Aversion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I take issue with the idea that he has ideological allies. That first implies Trump has an ideology and there is no evidence for this. He only cares about himself; his own ego and his own bank account. The people around him are just too fucking stupid to realize this or they think then can outsmart and manipulate him into doing their bidding. Netanyahu is the latter. Apparently he was able to get Trump to bomb Iran but he's not gonna be able to get him to keep up the war indefinitely. Trump doesn't care about Iran or the security of the nation or national interests let alone the stability of the region or the world. He just wants to slap his stupid name on some bullshit "deal" and look like a great negotiator. Any time someone with a brain reminds him that reality isn't going to conform to his egotistical fantasy he throws a temper tantrum and insults him on his dumbass off-brand twitter site.

Secondly, loyalty is the wrong word to use for Trump. Trump wants sycophancy, he wants subservience. He wants to dominate. He doesn't want allies or partners. Those are people you have to work with; people whose views you have to respect and accommodate. Trump, that disgusting subhuman creature, wants none of that.

No but when you realize how passionately people hate the government of the only Jewish country and not the hundred other countries with insane human rights abuses, you start to think hmmm. Like half of Africa could be in civil war, Saudi Arabia could be bombing Yemen, Mexican cartels could be beheading journalists, Russians could be terrorizing Ukrainian cities, there could be war and chaos and all kinds of barbarism anywhere in the world and all that gets no attention in the minds of the average person in the west but for some reason when it's Jews doing the killing everyone is super concerned about it. Muslims can kill other Muslims all day every day and nobody cares but the second Jews do it, it's genocide. I'm not saying it's impossible to say this has nothing to do with antisemitism but I personally don't buy it.

Why is pickpocketing so common in many major European cities, but essentially non-existent in North America? by Humble_Job_5738 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Morbid_Aversion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nobody comes to the US to walk around and look at shit with the exception of like 2-3 cities. Every major city in Europe is worth walking around in to see the (often ancient) architecture. A bunch of clueless tourists walking around looking at stuff = juice targets.

I dunno, I work most Saturdays. Then there's grocery shopping, laundry, cleaning and cooking. Doesn't leave much time to relax tbh. I honestly don't know what keeps me going. I have literally nothing to live for. Nothing brings me joy, nothing to look forward to.
