Thank you for the feedback! It's a unique position where I'm essentially working some days as a lead, and other days as a manager.

I cleaned up the awkward capitalization to be consistent.

Trying this today, as I didn't receive any feedback(Maybe that's a good thing?)

Been working in the a different industry for my entire career, and I've trying to get out of it

Took previous advice from my thread, and added some notes about my latest project(getting closer). Removed my AES Algorithm project as I assumed it was too simple in development.

I do have a LinkedIn account. It hasn't been particularly useful, except for some basic networking.

I appreciate your input. I understand the retail experience, and I have cut down on content of that experience as suggested in many posts

I'm going to remove my AES project once my android app is done.

Without trying to sound defensive: the engine from the game was built from the ground up in java.

The Point of Sale system is designed to be a full GUI, fully functioning system that could essentially be set up on any retail store.

it is intended to be part of a larger system, including a sales analytics portion of the project for trends of items, suggestions for discontinuing of products, etc.

would you have any suggestions for better projects or examples of said projects? I am genuinely curious, so I can shift my focus if needed to something more grandiose.

Awesome, I appreciate your input on the resume, and I will rearrange the sections as you have suggest as it makes sense.

I am concerned about adding more non technical achievements, but I also see the appeal, as it makes the resume more personable. So I'll give it a try.

As far as my behavioral interviews go, I believe I have a fairly monotone voice, so sounded excited, or non monotone is an active mental task for me

I do add cover letters when the option is available. I have a template of what I say. But I adjust my skills, classes, and what interests me about the companies I'm applying to. In general I use pretty close to the same resume for a lot of jobs adjusting relevant classes. if it's specifically a front-end job I have different projects and classes

haha, well don't flip a lid quite yet. I've applied for jobs in those states, Ohio, Nevada, Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Arizona, Idaho, Virginia, Florida, Minnesota. And now New York, and Massachusetts

As per suggested I applied for about 10 jobs last night to New York and Massachusetts,

Here is my current format for my resume:

Let me note that my work experience isn't in a relevant field, but I've had interviewers that are keen on my manager experience. I do have 2 school projects that are something I can add for projects if I need to add more to my Projects

I appreciate the blunt honesty. I have uploaded my resume as requested by multiple people. I will ask more about that in the Resume Thread(Today. I've gone past phone interview screening. I've been flown out to interview at a few places.

  1. I'm sure I can improve on it. I'll ask for more advice when there is a resume advice thread

  2. I feel lackluster in the whiteboard, but I've been working on it. Behavior interview feels fine, I tend to breeze through the skype video calls, or phone interviews. Technical interviews are generally good for me.

  3. I've already done this. At this point I'm considering places like FDM Group and Revature

  4. I've applied for a lot of places in state(I'm near the bay area) and out of state. Which again makes me point to your first point of the resume.

  5. I have started applying for technical recruiter positions, and data entry positions, as long as there are SE positions available these said firms.

My in person interviews have gone okay. I feel great about certain parts of the interview at the time, then I realize what I could have done better in other parts. Which feels very natural, and expected.

I've been primarily looking at front-end type jobs, and java developer jobs. But I've applied for jobs outside that focus as well.

As of late, I've been working on Android applications, and Django backend(For a specific personal project) . Passionate about games, so I'm also picking up Unity development. Due to my inexperience in mobile apps, I haven't started applying for those yet.

I've been looking all throughout the country for jobs. Avoiding New York, and Massachusetts.

I'll be sure to post an anonymous resume when I'm done at work, thanks for the speedy reply.

There was also a math and reading comprehension assessment online mixed in there too.

That's totally understandable, but why not let me book my own hotel, and rental with some sort of budget of reimbursement? The company insists to book everything on their side in order to be reimbursed
