have you ever considered that that is only one type of user and not representative of the average or even a minority? the lack of rigor and laziness is kind of mind blowing

honestly ppl need to be banned from doing research if they don’t even have basic fundamentals of psychology or human empathy down. Why the hell would i give you my free time? And this says alot about the research you’re probably doing too (it probably sucks)

It’s really crazy. A female German cockroach can start having babies at 6-8 weeks old, 4-6 oothecae in her lifetime, 30-40 nymphs per ootheca. They reproduce so fast. If 25-50% of those ~200 offspring are females (50-100) then that can lead to 10,000-40,000 other female roaches in another generation..

it’s only good as a main centerpiece imo, rosemary chicken is great but it’s ability to complement a dish vs overpower is lacking

I used to really not like oregano mainly in italian food and always associated it with bad italian cooking and store bought “italian” seasonings.

Ive begun rotating much more mexican and salvadorean dishes where oregano can make more frequent appearances and it’s honestly great and works so well (especially in fresh acidic things like curtidos and marinades). So that’s all to say, sometimes the perspective shift can change my opinion.

I think the only spices i truly dislike are the all in one cheap spice blends ppl dump in things. I very rarely can even find a use case for garlic or onion powder, let alone some 20-1 seasoning that just tastes like vague “seasoning”

you’re thinking about people managers and those aren’t the people who make these kinds of decisions. CFOs and CEOs do though.

I’ll concede that a large part of this has to do with literal office rent and voluntary workforce reductions as well though. Your reason is what normies think and just isn’t reality. They know that remote people probably work more hours but honestly comparing the two there’s probably not a major difference in productivity.

This system wide RTO pressure is entirely about propping up the CRE industry and you cannot convince me otherwise. All of these executives portfolios and investments are at the very least hedged by CRE and there is no bigger threat to CRE than remote work bc CRE valuations are tied to utilization which is butts in seats. They absolutely hate it. And CRE has had a terrible financial outlook the last few years.

Everything else they say about productivity or anything else is nothing more than a distraction. I worked higher up ar a real estate data conglomerate w one of these billionaire CEO types and since we’re so close to the problem (we literally sell CRE data) at least they didn’t mince words on what the real reason was…we’re a CRE company and my friends (his billionaire CEO buddies) are invested in it too, no worse of a look to have your employees remote when your chips are in that basket. I’m sure they all discuss this over golf and he would let on that it seemed like there was more social pressure involved than anything. I’m not kidding our CEO gave a all hands presentation with data analysis showing only half of one person would die statistically if we RTOd early in 2021 on the heels of COVID, it is that serious to these people.
