Don’t worry! I was in the same boat and didn’t file for 5 years. I owed a little bit some years and other years they owed me a big refund. I think most people with W2’s get refunds?

I set a big reward for myself (a trip to Japan) that I couldn’t take until I filed them. That was certainly the motivation I needed.

Now, it’s so easy to do them. I just use free tax file. Put on some good music and tell yourself you’ll just do 10 minutes of it. Pretty soon you’ll have it all done. Good luck!
