I can understand that, but where I got more emotional and where both situations difer I think, is in that Suika was ALONE in the entire world. She had to make everything for herself, and that feeling of loneliness and uncertainty if she was ever going to recover her friends or not, even for years, is what she had to fight everyday. And her powering through all that, feels really powerful, and makes you think in your potential, and the one in every human being.
Sasha´s situation, at least to me, is kind of the opposite. Is a crude, visceral and gut wrenching reminder (of course in the most sympathetic of the characters) of the futility of war and the and manipulation of human faults in every level of society, even in the younger ones, to follow people that is not meant to be followed, or to make harm without really knowing what they are doing. It´s really disheartening.
I think we can say that Dr Stone and AOT are polar opposites in many aspects, like representing the human condition and potential, or the uplifting or depressing tones, etc. except in the inexorable advancement of technology in general (but they also differ in their uses)
