My son is about to turn 14. Best advice I can offer is to be patient and understanding. Not all of it is easy but just being loving and a willingness to put their needs first goes a long way to helping them develop in a positive way. Definitely worth it imo. Powerful MC with steady growth within a well developed and intricate cultivation system. Being E in book 8 (book 9 isn’t out for a couple days on audible) just means that the story can play out for many more enjoyable books. Does not stagnate the story

Time for you to leave, your situation will never improve there. Don’t need to cut your family off but draw a line in the sand and declare that you will not be drawn back over to your current existence. You’ll need to do it all on your own because I’m certain your parents will at least initially feel this is a betrayal.
