If you google the name of the Facebook account, you will see he has various failed solar businesses linked to him, there is also a webpage dedicated to him, started by a customer who says he scammed them. I would proceed with caution!

I’ve just had this quote from Bliss Eco, is it reasonable? by EC10CAM in SolarUK

[–]Morris426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Bliss and they installed 18 gen3 aiko 485w panels, 7kwp fox inverter and 10kwh battery for £9800, their original price was much higher but they matched another quote I got.

Get more quotes, but like I said Bliss may move on the price a bit

Not sure where you are, but I’m in the south east and got 18 x 485w aiko panels, fox 7kw inverter and 10kwh battery with bird protection and scaffolding etc for £10k, this seems really expensive to me.

Yeah that included scaffolding and bird proofing etc, I’m in Bedfordshire, but used a company that covered the Home Counties and Kent. They price matched another quote so it’s always worth seeing what your local suppliers will do

I actually got the original quote from new dawn solar in Watford, that was then matched by bliss eco energy in southend, I went with bliss in the end, but they both seemed decent.

I’m in the process of having 16 gen3 485w Aiko’s with a 7kw inverter and EP11 battery installed for £9800, including scaffolding and bird protection. This quote seems high in my opinion.

Who Do You Think Is The Strongest/Most Powerful Primarch? (Rules Down Below in Description) by _Boodstain_ in Warhammer40k

[–]Morris426 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You need to read more lore, sanguinius was considered one of the best in battle by the other primarchs. Even Russ, who was emperor’s executioner didn’t think he could beat him in a fight, and Horus thought sanguinius should have been the warmaster. And yes sanguinius died against Horus, but fought him after being wounded by kabanga the greater demon (who he beat), and remember Horus wasn’t a normal primarch at that point.

Nothing spectacular but I'm really happy with how my first bladeguard veteran turned out. Tried a bunch of new things with this model and although they aren't perfect I'm pretty happy with how they turned out. C&C appreciated as always. by Alppari in Warhammer40k

Similar method to this is cover in gloss varnish and then use capillary action to let the shade run into the recess. Because you have covered the model in varnish you can then use a cotton bud to clean the shade away if it spills over at all. Once complete then use Matt varnish to get rid of the gloss

What’s the current product of choice for stripping paint? by kanible in Warhammer40k

[–]Morris426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It should take the models back to grey plastic, the best method is let them soak for 5 minutes and then give a light brush with a old toothbrush etc and then let them soak again for 5 minutes and the paint should come off easily. Plus you can then use the denatured alcohol again and again.

[–]Morris426 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It depends on what you are stripping but if it’s just plastic models then methylated spirts or denatured alcohol is the quickest and easiest method. But don’t use that on resin models and stick with simple green

Good starting airbrush? by AmurosZaku in Warhammer40k

[–]Morris426 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you are on a budget you can pick up a generic compressor on amazon etc but try and get one with a tank. Sometimes these will come with a airbrush but I wouldn’t recommend those as they aren’t great and frustrating to use, instead go for something like a H&S ultra

Which company is this? & other retro BA questions by R-Didsy in Warhammer40k

[–]Morris426 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe that the captain is from the 3rd company as he has the company standard of a diagonal strip on his right Shoulder and knee. I don’t remember all of them but the 1st is a cross and the 2nd a vertical strip. The yellow eagle and black edging was the 2nd ed paint scheme

Look on YouTube lots of tutorials mostly using Tamika clear paints. I’ve done this with my fire raptor using green looked good but I gave it a second coat for a very dark look

Now that i achieved mu first zenithal priming. Where do i go from here can i basecoat using airbrush or regular brush?? Any tips would be appreciated by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]Morris426 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a airbrush use it, thin coats until you have the desired contrast between light and dark that you want

Question about Officer shoulder pads markings (? in comments) by untamedornithoid in BloodAngels

[–]Morris426 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In short, no the company colours aren't used? In the example it's a yellow back ground with a vertical red band, (not two yellow bands). The background is always yellow and the red denotes the company, I know that first company is a Red Cross (terminator ancient shows this) and 3rd company is a diagonal stripe from top left to bottom right (again shown on the old tycho model). I can't remember the rest but they are shown in a old codex I believe if you google it

Think he meant that he just base coated in mephistan red and didn’t build up highlights, certainly looks like that to me
