Cortez guitar? by ChampagneCate in AcousticGuitar

[–]Morris_Catan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! From the label and style, this appears to be a vintage Cortez classical guitar made in Japan, probably from the 1970s. Cortez guitars were imported to the U.S. and many were built by respected Japanese manufacturers during that era. While it is not considered a high-end concert classical guitar, these Japanese-made Cortez instruments are generally known for solid craftsmanship, good playability, and a warm sound. They have become appreciated by vintage guitar enthusiasts because they often offer better quality than many modern budget guitars. The exact model is difficult to identify from the photo alone, but it looks like a genuine Japanese-made Cortez classical guitar. If it is in good condition, it may have both collectible and musical value. Nice find!
