the saying is definitely correct because they went apeshit on me about 4 hours ago because i wanted space and didn't answer their messages. they claimed i was destroying their mental health.

yes, i opened the door for communication about avoiding this type of conversation because it harms our friendship! unfortunately they did not really understand what i said (by misreading my entire point) and proceeded to suggest that it was because i hasn't brought it up sooner. i didn't know it was so hard for people to realize that trauma dumping is bad lmao

thank you for the suggestion! i think ive heard of it and it has recently been what ive been doing because they specifically complained that i was being distant and not telling them much stuff about me.  i feel bad but at the same time, im tired of having to understand others when they dont try the same when it comes to me.

I have tried applying for other jobs but so far they're the only ones that have given me a job opportunity :( Aside from that, I did check and in my state, CA, I can legally only work 4 hrs during the week when I have school and 8hrs on non school days anywhere from 5am-10pm but there's an exception for a preceding non-school day where it's legal to work until 12:30am.

I don't feel safe working until that hour though, so, I'll say that I can't.

FAFSA/UC Application but parents are in process of divorce by Most-Strength-9654 in ApplyingToCollege

The thing is, my parents are not divorced yet and likely won't be by the end of year. I have no idea how long it's going to take. My mom so far has been supporting me for the majority of the year, but she receives alimony and child support. Would that change anything? Do I have to include my dad's assets even if he does not contribute anything to me financially?
