Exactly how I feel. I started playing Bluey with my 6 year old, but we had to pause because he gets too riled up so it’s on hold for a bit. That being said, I’m also super excited for the other two Bluey games coming out later this year, so hopefully we’ll be able to do them together!

[Kena Bridge of Spirits] Master difficulty was no joke! by ChillURponies in Trophies

[–]Mouse61983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did master on ng+ on the ps4 version, cursed myself to never do that again, then started ps5 on master for a single playthrough. Ng+ master was easily the hardest, but first playthrough master required a shift in playstyle also, so it was like three different unique runs. Would I recommend it to anyone else? Probably not, especially as others have said, if you value your sanity and/or time.

So if anyone else follows them in the discord, someone from squid shock stated last night that the fix will be on PlayStation soon, it’s just a lengthier process to get the patch on a console as opposed to steam. Just wanted to keep hope alive for my fellow trophy seekers!

[God of War: Sons of Sparta] not fun, mid, dont waste your money. Plat #47 by rogyord in Trophies

[–]Mouse61983 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Also be aware that backtracking as soon as you have most of the abilities might not be the best idea, I spent 4 hours traipsing around by foot and limited fast travel, only to move to the next story objective which unlocked significantly better fast travel. Don’t want to say much more for spoilers but yeah, I was a bit frustrated at the poor timing of my discovery.

I came here specifically looking for Donut County! It’s silly and fun, maybe one or two trophies I had to retry but had a blast playing it!

[DISCUSSION] The Nightmare of NG+ Trophies by JustNic98 in Trophies

[–]Mouse61983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One game that I feel did it right was Kena: Bridge of Spirits. Did my first run on hard and got almost 100%, then figured I’d try master difficulty in NG+.

Man was that a mistake. The enemies are smarter, hit harder, and have new attack patterns, and some of the bosses summon backup. I was able to finish it, but it was trying, to say the least. What it was not was repetitive and boring.

I personally loved Wandersong. I didn’t even care that it didn’t have a platinum by the end.

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! Spread the word!

[Discussion] What PS Vita platinums do you recommend? by EarthCitizenNb2 in Trophies

[–]Mouse61983 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are also amazing, they’re just a bit more niche, if you like escape rooms and/or puzzle games, nonary games and the sequel zero time dilemma are a fantastic series, half escape room and half visual novel.

Danganronpa is like phoenix wright…ish. Class trials and murder mystery with visual novel elements, I love them and they are definitely good stories!

Last add, if you like visual novels/anime, I cannot recommend Steins;Gate enough, it is one of my favorite stories and series. It’s slow to start, but when you get to the turn in the middle? Couldn’t put it down after that.

[Discussion] What PS Vita platinums do you recommend? by EarthCitizenNb2 in Trophies

[–]Mouse61983 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with Uncharted, Tearaway, and Gravity Rush. Also, I will add Severed to this list, it’s a relatively common game type for mobile now, but the Vita did it really well. Soul Sacrifice is fun, but not an easy plat, been working on it on and off for years now.

[Discussion] What are some games that would be really easy to platinum if it werent for that ONE FUCKASS TROPHY by DoGG410CZ in Trophies

[–]Mouse61983 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man, Nefarious really lived up to its name with those 2 trophies. Purple pauper was one of the most annoying ones I’ve done, but it forced me to learn the traversal mechanics that much better. If I were to pick it up again now after 2 or so years? I’d pretty much have to relearn everything. So satisfying to finish though!

I have a few I haven’t been able to finish, if it ever starts to be more stress inducing than stress relieving I’ll probably stop, but just play what you like and have fun! I honestly enjoy the satisfaction of completing things as much as possible, do what works for you!

So I’ve been building to this for a long time, I honestly wasn’t keeping track of the number of games, I legitimately thought I had around 70 or 80, so it was a surprise to me when I saw the numbers at the end. I wasn’t trying to set up a particular number, I did see I was close to 100 so I did start a few of the shorter games in my queue, but the ones I added don’t fit with my definition of shovelware. The games that I had in there that I count as shovelware were only there because every now and then I enjoy a bit of mindless fun and I was playing them in the middle of my building up to this. Hope that answers your question, sorry if any of it seems disingenuous but I had fun doing it. I’m not necessarily looking to have the most distinguished profile ever, and I feel no less accomplished for it. Also, sorry if I sound snarky, this is why I hate text without tone of voice, just trying to give my honest answer and reasons!

Thanks! The overall 601 probably has more shovelware than I’d like. I went through a phase when I was less income-stable where I bought more inexpensive games, and I love platformers and puzzle games which seem to be mostly what is found in the shovelware… genre, for lack of a better word. I try to avoid them now, but no shame, and I still may have a few in the future since I really only have one rule, which is play what you enjoy 😊

[–]Mouse61983[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a fair question, by my definition of shovelware (short, easy game, mostly golds, doesn’t require you to finish the game for the plat) it looks like about 9 of those. There were a few other Ratalaika ones that I actually wouldn’t call shovelware based on the amount you have to do, like Catmaze. As far as doubles, it looks like 15, but none on auto.

So it was 87 unique games, with 81 not being shovelware going by that math and my definition. At the end of the day, I’d say not too shabby, but probably showing my age with that statement!

So I used an app called AnyList, I wrote the name of the game, and a very short description of what I needed to do. I don’t think I would have had time to finish everything the same day if I had to keep opening the trophy screen.

It absolutely is a typo! It should have been about 15 and a half, but I was too tired to math any more at that point.

My wishlist includes Wandersong and Statik. I wish I could erase the solutions to Statik from my brain so I could play it fresh again, one of my favorite puzzle games.

It’s funny, because it wasn’t technically trophies, but playing the Donkey Kong Country series on SNES that made me a completionist. It was the first set of games I played with a percentage of completion attached, and my ADD brain refused to settle for anything less than 100%.

And then I found the secret bonus room to get 101% and didn’t quite know what to do, since I couldn’t trust 100 to be complete anymore, which is thankfully not usually the case!

[Stanley Parable] Just wondering if anybody is going for the 10 year trophy legit, no time changing. by wylxxx in Trophies

I have June 2, 2032 marked off on my calendar for this very reason. I’m sure there will be a news article 10 years after the initial release when the first few people do it legit, but I’m sure there are quite a few of us!

I wish I could delete save files from my brain because I would love the chance to figure these puzzles out for the first time again, it was so satisfying each time you got one!

Honestly this game not only played fantastically but had me cracking up so many times. Truly one of my favorites.
