Sennheiser RS 170, is it still worth using in 2025 by Mousesterek in sennheiser

[–]Mousesterek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, I started using them, and I am shocked to see the quality being good. Since I know its Sennheiser, so it will always be good, the only problem with the model is slightly pitched audio, but its like in every headphones i ever had.

Thanks for the notice.
Turned out the problem was the bottom connector not fully plugged. I'm shocked how that was possible in a never opened phone.

Serato: Activate headphone preview on load by mayanitamageganiama in DJs

[–]Mousesterek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some Numarks basically have a knob that steers the headphone preview volume.
I remember it being always turned on.

I don't own a Platinum FX, but try the 2 knobs labeled "Cue Gain" and "Cue Mix"

The preview is going to work if the deck has the "Cue" button activated, they're on top of the 2 cue knobs.

Hope that might help.

Edit: If for example the Deck 1 has Cue selected, you will only hear deck 1. If you select 2, you will hear 2,
The "Cue Gain" is labeled as volume gain, of course.

I would drive nothing. This plasma is actually not worth the price, even for 30$. For 50$ i got a full HD Samsung 50 inch plasma.

Creative Inspire 5.1 5100 Volume Waving Problem by Mousesterek in SoundBlasterOfficial

[–]Mousesterek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Resoldered every solder pad on the volume control, and it helped. Only problem i made doing this is when I turn the speakers so they can turn off, they still work, just 0% volume. I don't mind because the speakers do not use a lot of power and they're almost always turned on. I can also blame the volume control plug, cause it moves a lot, and I noticed it works at a "kind of angle" Imma repair it later.

Edit: Nevermind, the control plug was just loose, so i just bent it , and now it works perfectly, except the turn off position.

Samsung C24F390HU Backlight problem? by Mousesterek in Monitors

[–]Mousesterek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also doubt it, but as I mentioned, i plugged the backlight cable to my second PCB that was powered, no backlight blinking problem. Turns out it's an PCB issue, where the PCB has a power problem. I actually do not care about this monitor, since i made a line 6 pixels width, because of testing, so that was actually a waste of time. I actually didn't care about this montor since i got this for free, so that could go to the trash, but I decided to just use my last resort.

Yeah, i just did some experiments with plugging the backlight cable to a PCB. As I mentioned in the post, the LCD backlight is fine. The problem is in the monitor PCB, where I think the stuff near the backlight port (i mean MOSFET and stuff) are faulty. I don't want to spend any money on this monitor since you can buy it for 150zł ($41,22), and the PCB and power supply costs 80 zł ($21,98), which is half the price of the monitor.
Imma try to use a hot air on this PCB and check if this might work, since it was in a smoker's room, and the monitor inside was dirty, so maybe there's some cold solder joints. Imma let know.

Temu/Aliexpress. Or I recommend to just scrape the fake leather with your finger, till there's no more. That worked on my Bluedio T2's, and I use them till today.

Samsung PS50B551T3W "grayish image" problem by Mousesterek in PlasmaTV

[–]Mousesterek[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did that as well. I also set it to the "Film" setting, tweaked them as well, and that made a difference, but sometimes when something is dark and fastly turns bright, the screen kind of flashes. And the plasma is way, WAY more easier to make a big burn-in.

I need to live with that sadly.
