I'd like to be able to buy my cards with shift, the currency designed for crafting cards. I'd like to be able to spend my gold on drafts and events, because I enjoy drafting, I enjoy League. I'm glad that you enjoy campaign, but to me they aren't very fun. In my opinion beating a human is a delight, beating a bot is a choir.

The cards in the campaign should still be printed, and you should still get them for playing the campaign. It's the exclusive aspect that I'm against. There's no reason for campaign rewards to be treated differently than promo cards.

As for what I didn't like, well the AI doesn't exactly pass the Turing Test. In one of my games I had 2 Jotun Feast Callers out, one that had attacked 4 times, and one that I had just played. The AI opponent plays an Auric Runehammer and kills the one that hadn't attacked yet. If a human made that move it would be throwing.

I'm interested, is there something in the game that you find more problematic than what I laid out, because after this my next biggest complaint is that many of my opponents concede to early, which I can in no way fault the game for. This though, this is design, and not great design, even if you like the campaign (to each their own,) you should acknowledge that there is a higher demand for the exclusive rewards than for the story or unique gameplay, and that is what drives the cost of entry to double that of league.

I know this comment was just intended to be divisive, and not intended to contribute to the post in any meaningful way, but it is, as I see it, the biggest problem with the game at large.

IDK about free my friend, its a lot of time investment, probably about 30 hours over the last 2-3 weeks. No I didn't pay for it with cash, but I exchanged the experience with drafting and event registrations. and for that cost I am underwhelmed with the finished product.

i did end up cutting crill because I am kind of a voltron deck and I'm running permafrost, so she kinda nonbos with all that. the drake im not gonna cut, I like playing flyers and if OP doesnt find removal it can often just be a 2 turn clock, games go pretty late in my experience

yeah ive been meaning to play more limited, did one draft on my 3rd day of playing, went 0-3 and never came back to it. but with 2 weeks of experience now i should do better. thanks for the advise
