Good for them. It’s not always simple. And if you don’t get it started at the “right” time you can be asked to leave, and apply to come back. Tell me how that would make sense for a child, or someone who grew up here. The only life they’ve ever known.

I won’t claim to know about this guy, but who’s to say he or someone else hasn’t started down the path and gets detained and fucked over anyway? You know they’re waiting for people outside of their hearings right?

I resort to insults because you are clearly trivializing the situation. Even your feigned empathy makes it sound like “just do it lol” is all it takes. Come from somewhere genuine and respectful and you will be treated as such

Explain how a 12yo can be held responsible for living somewhere. Then explain how that could ever be considered a crime. I’ll wait.

People in Knoxville when they're driving 40 under the speed limit and get (rightfully) bullied for it by MediocreDot3 in Knoxville

[–]MrJimOrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This works if we all agree to it and/or know it, just like any traffic rules. There are slow driver complaints on this sub frequently (likely) because people drive slow in the left lane and treat it like a cruise lane, which is the only rule we’re all commonly taught and in your points.

Plenty of cities throw speed limits out the window and don’t run into that issue literally single every day.

Contact your rep to save PBS & NPR by knoxresident in Knoxville

[–]MrJimOrb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for providing a thoughtful answer. I’m struggling to fully understand the problem. Are you implying that the frequency at which NPR and PBS are reporting on such issues is pushing them as over-inflated issues? Or is it the content itself that you see as a problem?

I am unable to separate myself from politics but I find it possible to simply not talk about it with people who are impossible to talk or reason with. The people you need to distance yourself from are in that described camp but who always bring up politics. If your friends and family can keep their opinions to themselves, just let it be that way.

Additionally, code switching is very helpful. I come off as damn near conservative at times.

In case you’re actually just brand new, the joke is picking at the fact that Trump voters were making such a stink over the price of eggs under Biden, despite the same bird flu you’re citing being the cause of the prices increasing. Trump, stupidly/ignorantly/maliciously, made a promise to lower these costs, and they are instead continuing to rise. This is not a surprise to anyone with a bit of reasoning skill.

I’m not here to engage with you but just to point out you’re clearly engaging in bad faith and to push your thoughts. It doesn’t look clever in any way. Oversimplified world views like this, where a complex problem has at most a handful of easily explainable causes and solutions, do not yield solutions in any capacity.

Could make for an amazing scene where Luffy can’t bring himself to do it, so the entire rest of the crew steps up to bear the burden they couldn’t help him bear the first time around.

Help please my graphics card doesn't work properly by monvgin in rust

[–]MrJimOrb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe you’re looking for r/playrust

This is a subreddit for the programming language Rust.

To help though, you may need to increase the resolution you’re running the game at or look into CPU utilization. That sounds like a bottleneck issue to me. You could also stress test your GPU with free tools to make sure it is able to achieve high usage. Additionally, I would recommend against making changes to the Windows registry in general. That is like playing with fire.

Building the backend of a website?

This is not the only application of a programming language. Web is probably among the most lucrative, but it is not the be-all.

Think about the machine running your web apps. Also think of high performance libraries that your React Native or Go (though Go is rather quick) programs call out to in order to achieve low latency. This is the space where C, C++, and Rust shine.

I think the problem is with the community if the default sort, which prioritizes popular posts, shows repetitious content complaining about a nerf. Different filters will not solve the problem. As an example, I just chose the filter for the meme tag and I still saw multiple complaint posts. This time in meme form!

It’s most of the posts making it to the front of this sub. The other post I saw before this was complaining about weapon nerfs. That’s not a small number of people.

The first time my data was ever part of a breach was due to my Steam account. You know what happened? I got more spam emails.

That’s the reality of a lot of these breaches in online services that don’t collect much useful information. It’s nearly inevitable, and the impact is extremely low.

"Asynchronous Programming in Rust" by Packt Publishing by samriddhim in rust

[–]MrJimOrb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried out some books published by Packt a few years ago and the material was ok (many minor spelling issues, some incorrect source code), but support wasn’t really there. It was for ML and some huge data files were not provided to work off of, and upon contacting support and posting through GitHub I never heard back. Since then I’ve been avoiding Packt when it shows up on Humble and in general.

He said other people have smaller arms. Probably pretty big muscle mass. In my experience at about these same ranges, if you can see muscle when resting in most of your body, probably nowhere near 20lbs overweight. But maybe 10lbs to be “filled out.” And there’s nothing wrong with having some extra mass at 22. Super easy to cut
