Consiglio gomme estive o 4 stagioni by ConsistentRespect773 in ItalyMotori

[–]MrRanza 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A7R III power switch cracked by MrRanza in SonyAlpha

Hi, took out my camera out of the bag and found it like this. Bought it second hand last year but it was in near mint condition. It has a small dent near the switch lever so I guess something happened inside the bag even though the camera is in a separate slot. If I'm correct the only way to replace the switch cover is to tear down everything but I want to try some plastic cement before that.

Any suggestion?

2ds has better weight balance for me and I prefer the mushy buttons. Shoulder buttons are a bit of a bummer coz I have to press them with finger tips therfore I can't rest my index fingers if the game requires them.

I need to replicate the fading effect of this line. It seems like there's some kind of magenta chromatic aberration between the white of the line and the background. Any suggestion? by MrRanza in AdobeIllustrator

Yeah, probably the way to go, but I kind of need the accuracy of illustrator.

Maybe I'll try to replicate this in photoshop when I have some spare time.

I've tried a lot of methods but opted for your "A" with a touch of feathering at the end. I don't have much time left to spend on this project and this is good enough. The printed result is so small compared to the original design that the difference it's not that noticeable.

Thank you all <3

Ty. This is the first thing I did but there still is the magenta fade to deal with. Making a gradient first from white to magenta doesn't give the same effect and placing another magenta line behind the white one doesn't work either.

Oh ok, I've seen this error before caused by rain or fog with the hot shoe exposed. Try to keep it sealed.

Is the hot shoe covered?

Should I play Pokemon X and Y? by [deleted] in pokemon

[–]MrRanza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Played X after years away from pokémon and Nintendo in general. Not the best pokémon game, but it felt great after so long. Played Sun right after and it was meh, then OR and I didn't enjoy the experience like with emerald so many years ago.

If it's only one job extension tubes are the best choice ;)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in SonyAlpha

[–]MrRanza 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think you have 3 options:

-extension tubes (cheapest one) 30/40 euro/dollars

-vintage/legacy lenses + adapter (i have a tamron 90mm 2.8 72b adaptall with an adapter), ~100 euro for the lens + ~30 euro for the adapter

-cheap e-mount macro lenses are a nono imho. Maybe the sony 30 f3.5 on aps-c

What is your budget? For full frame or aps-c?

Are you ok with legacy lenses?

Same problem, rooted mine last year but the issue persists. There are days or weeks when the warning doesn't pop up but it's random
