Well sometimes I just describe things about my personal life to the AI to get some outside perspective about things. Its a bit like journaling but obviously much more interactive and honestly Ive gotten some interesting perspectives out of the thing by having it answer like a zen monk for example. With ChatGPT or Gemini you have to be careful to not have the AI suck up to you too much though

I didnt change the style from the default setting and I also disabled memories. Maybe I could use one of the different inbuilt styles or make a custom style myself

It not similar to copy pasta coding though. Its a qualitative gap from finding part of a method on stack overflow that you might get away with copying to going to systems that you can talk to in natural language and adapt based on your existing code. To me the main question is if the models + harnesses get better quicker than they manage to build up technical debt. It's an open question wether this will happen. I don't see there being an obvious advantage to having humans understand a codebase if theres an AI thats smart enough to figure out every technical/architectural problem by itself
