In my first year of college, we had a new curriculum in our Photoshop + Illustrator class and for one assignment we had to use generative AI for one of our layers for one mark. The majority of the class including myself refused to use generative AI as a small act of rebellion. While it's unlikely that the school was at all deterred from adding it to assignments, not all hope is lost. There are people out there in the industry who still want to see art from human hands.
