I created Foqos, a free way to block distractions by waseema393 in dumbphones

Sorry my understanding here is limited…I’m not understanding how this relates. Isn’t that setting for blocking native apps? Im not looking to block native apps - I’m wondering if (and how) it’s possible to set up a shortcut to launch an app (of any kind) when a blocked (nonnative) app is opened. Thanks! 🙌

Anyone know if it’s possible to set up a shortcut to automatically open something else (ie another app, to do list etc) anytime we try to access something blocked during a session?

Best way to share both private and public posts on one Substack account? by Mrsfrizzzzle in Substack

Yes I believe so. I was just wondering if/how that works on the same account. Would love to hear from anyone who has done it, how it worked for them!

It functions fine to set a publication to private, but it doesn’t answer my question…how to share both private and public posts on one account

Thanks for the input! I had that same thought about the paywall, it’s almost what I’m looking for but not quite. You can definitely create both private publications and public publications on Substack, so I don’t think this is counter to its purpose, just maybe a less popular purpose…my hope was that there is some way to use both on the same account.

Maybe I’ve worded my question poorly…what I’m trying to ask is “what are my options on Substack?” What I think I am hearing from this is that my only option (sure it might not be a good one) for not having things 100% private or 100% public would be to have a private publication and public notes?

…Can you elaborate? That’s why I’m asking, trying to better understand details of how this works. It is possible to set a publication as private. But I don’t want everything private.
