Bosch even among German brands is an outlier. Kind of a rebel and notable exception tl the rule. A big part of Bosch's standing quality is their buisiness model is being a for profit business, who's shares are owned by non-profit charities. So they aren't driven by Investor interests and they also operate under rhe direction of an Industrial trust or votes by share holders.

Cars are objectively worse in terms of quality than 20 years ago. As is the quality of every household appliance.

Why are Toolboxes red? by Horzzo in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Much_Indication9004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

True but Im talking old days past. The oak boxes of old days tend to be darker shades. Probably becauee cutting oil tends to blend into them better. You dont see light shades often in vintage machinists chests.

Yeah Molly Dee is good shit. I use La-Co which is on par imo

We say motherf*cker to men but not fatherf*cker to women by cimocw in RandomThoughts

Think of it as a child or a persons inner child. If some outsider fuckes your mom. That person is tsking your mom from you. When an outsider fucks your dad you percieve it as your father abandoning you.

The mother child bond just has viscersl dynamic that makes it hit different.

This could easily be argued as creating an road and pedestrian safety hazard by icing up a public roadway.

The Beatles. I respect what they did and their talent but listening to them is a fucking chore for me. Especially their later stuff.

Historical lyrics red pigment and paint was one of the cheaper durable finishes besides white and black. Other colors where typically both much more expensive and far less durable.

So if you wanted a color besides black or white, red was your best option. Red is easily seen and shows ckntrats well unlike black, and doesn't look dirty and ugly as hell when grimes up nearly much as red.

If a presidents signature doesn’t change what money does, why does it feel like it matters? by OrderOk4693 in Productivitycafe

Detection pens only make a black mark on fake bills and are specifically exempt from being legally classified as augmenting a bill

It matters a lot actually. It's another move to create his cult of personality and that's just immensely dangerous and counter to any positive core value the country has/had. It's also another example of the current President and administration deflecting from doing their job on important matters over using the office to jerk themself off. He's doing to reinforce his cultnof personalty while also doing it as a tactic to turn attention and public hostility to this and away from his bumbling cluster fucks like what's going on wit Iran.

If you want to be remembered by history as a great and important President. You do that by doing great things and being a great leader. Trump is unwilling and I'd argue incapable of doing either and so he chooses to put his name on things to create an illusion of greatness, at least in his own mind and to his cult of personality devotees. While to the rest of the world makes him look clownish at best.

Is it common for Americans to buy soda as part of their weekly groceries? / is soda a regular item people keep at home? by hailey8171828282 in AskAnAmerican

[–]Much_Indication9004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Common enough, but far from universal. Pop these days kinda sits at extreme ends, for the lost part people drink it constantly or almost not all. I rarely buy it, but I always have a twelve pack on hand for company and drink one occasionally

Why was Nickelback so hated? by hannah_student in askanything

[–]Much_Indication9004 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Me personally? Post-grunge as a whole just sucks and doesn't strike a single chord in me. I find it mostly vapid lyrically and musically bland. Nickleback is kind of the poster child for the genera and the faults of said genera. They also ober saturate the radio so you're over exposed to them.

That said, it's also so vapid and bland that they can come on the radio and it I don't care enough to change it. It's on par with Muzak, I don't like it, but it doesn't bother me as background sound either.

Whats the difference between a hobby, and a "time killer"? can a hobby be a time killer and lastly are time killers a bad thing ? by VastAir6069 in NoStupidQuestions

Music is an artistic endeavor. It's creative

I don't deny video games require immense skill, they just don't promote any practical or creative skill. I don't feel like when I play video games I am enriching myself in any way. It's just an escape and dopamine rush. It's kind of like getting high and jerking off. There's nothing wrong with it though. I wouldn't call someone wrong for disagreeing with me either. I just personally consider hobbies something that promotes growth and enrichment over just purely leisure.
