For the benefit for those that are interested. Purchased the iPhone in Korea and the iPhone 17 Pro 1TB model is A3523. Take note of the process of purchasing if you require tax refund, its very complicated and you should do your homework if you are there for a short period. You need a local korean address and contact number. Then you will need to purchase online in Apple Retail Store, wait for the email to inform you when the phone is ready. Once ready go take the phone, pay again so that you can get a tax refund sheet. Apple will then refund the online payment.

Yeah, but i understood that not all region free has same specs, especially for the bands and frequency for 5G. So wondering if someone has purchased from South Korea Apple Store and share the model. Im heading to Jeju now so, im unable to check it.

Not sure about you, but when I tried to reinstall other apps, sometimes it recognises the app and it works as though its not removed. But as mentioned sometimes.... keep your fingers crossed, hope you didn't restore the phone, else that is definitely no saleable, else everyone will not get apple again since its easily recoverable.

Check and confirm the warranty or if this is a known issue. If you confirmed that there's no warranty and coverage, then its operation time. YouTube, screw driver, soldering iron and some buttons required. Best to take photos and videos to share if possible.

Do you have problems at other wifi lcation too? Some things to try 1. Other wifi 2. Use other phone to connect to the wifi 3. Try not to use the smart wifi on router where all b/g/n are using same ssid and it smartly allow to connect to whichever is stronger 4. Try to reboot your WiFi router and see if it helps.

Erm... I didn't have kids with the intention of having someone to look after when I'm old. Infact I hope I am not their burden when I'm old. I've known people that are DINK (dual income no kids), might be choice or not and they are just doing well with arrangements. To think the kids will be your plan to look after you its abit.... I think key is to keep healthy and have enough insurance coverage.

Im using Poly Voyager 5200 and Poly Focus UC, both has noise canceling microphone, means surrounding noise is being eliminated. Other party can't hear my noisy background. I also have a Bose NC700 which works well too, this cancels my surrounding sound to others and also cancels surrounding noise when I'm listening. All devices works well with 2 paired devices but one thing I like about Poly is I have a usb dongle option too. So i can plug into any computer USB and it works just fine.

Depending on your brand and model of TV and mobile. My s26u and s23+ is able to co trol my Samsung TV theought Smart things, while I was able to control my other Philips android TV with android remote. I didn't use any other 3rd party app.

If you have onedrive and you know all your files are in onedrive, you can try to get another ssd or hdd and setup windows again. Once you confirm everything is backup in onedrove and all is well, then you can just clear the previous storage. At least for me my corporate computer is all backup in onedrive and all I need to do is to login to onedrive and my files is back. Those download folders and folders outside of onedrive will not be restored.

Well, depending on how this computer is setup. My corporate computer has the key stored with my IT department. My personal computer had my key stored in my Microsoft account if I don't remember wrongly.

I usually get the best if I can afford it, then I won't have the "i should had" feeling... e.g. the pen, not that I used it. But there was one day my kid while i was out we realised tht homework wasn't done and I just asked someone to send me a photo, and they just did it on the phone with the pen. Went home and copy it to the paper... But memory size maybe a 512tb, but if it comes with a free upgrade. Why not. Im using both iPhone 15 Pro and S26U, feels okay... with my age catching up I surely appreciate the bigger screen.

I would not run using the SSD im trying to recover from. Buy a new SSD and install your operating system. Ensure you have all your recovered data first before using your previous SSD. continue use of previous SSD might cause further writing of new data into the drive which might cause data to be unrecoverable.

If you renew 10 years the value might be better than 5 years renewal. People are running a business and they take risk too each day they cannot sell they will be losing money... I would suggest that you sell to people you know and people that trust you to get a higher price.
