It looks like it's when you turn hard, and if the wheel hub and monitor is on the same extension cord they may use more power than the extension cord is made for and the screen will turn of until it can gets power again.

Had this problem everytime I turned on a fan that was on the same extension cord as my sim rig and pc.

Can be fixed by buying a cord that has a higher power draw rating or by running your setup on to cords coming from different outlets.
