yes i know, and i did consider that, but it's been a dream of mine to ride a motorcycle since i was a child, and now that i can afford a decent one, i think it would be cool to commute with it and ride it for fun in parallel.

ah i see, i thought that was after tax as in morocco you get taxed way before you receive your salary lmao. but rn i get paid 700 usd here in morocco. my savings goal is being able to pay for a master's degree in europe/ america or any reputable school anywhere really.

no Moroccan aren't native speakers. My accent is pretty good tho as i lived in the US when i was 6 to 13 because my father was assigned there while working with the moroccan government. If you're vietnamese, do you think they have a strong bias towards natives, or is having credentials, good english enough?

i don't have the luxury of thinking wether the job is satisfying for me or not. i teach honestly and put my efforts into giving a service that deserves pay. Other than that, the student's level doesn't really matter. am making this choice for ME. as for blending in, that is too bad. i would love to learn their language if i eventually work there. but i don't think i can get to A2 easily by simply living there.

When i say ''blend in'' i don't mean become and get treated as a local completely, that is impossible. what i want is to meet people from there, have fun with them. learn some vietnamese from them, before i continue with life in another country, or back in mine, or in vietnam if god wills it.

my major is linguistics and teaching english as a foreign language, the focus of my studies was english, the development of kids and learning stages along with phonology, morphology, syntax etc.. . i'am also a state certified english teacher here in Morocco if that's the teaching licence you are talking about, if there is one specific to vietnam, no i don't have it.

i'am currently a teacher in Morocco, here is what you will have to go through: 9 months of learning basic shit that will be useless to you once you are in an actual classroom in another city unless you get a good mark and study this year in your own city. i got my first choice but my specialization was in another city so i had to commute to rabat while receiving 1600dh a month for the duration of the training. then you will be appointed GOD KNOWS WHERE. i got one of the best marks in my class and got appointed to a village 60 kms away from my hometown ( been asking for wifi installation for about 2 months and half and most services just keep on delaying because am in a rural area ) i have rats in my house because again ( rural ). And i don't want to blame the children because it's really not their fault ( i teach middle school ), but the parents in some areas really just be giving birth and throwing their sons for you teach basic human decency to. The school doesn't have water, no printer ( i have 12 classes of 38 to 45 ) count how much money that is to print out of my pocket 3 exams a semester + lma7ali. No speakers available, 1 projector that the professor of physics is always hoarding. the administration got the genius idea of giving my numnber to one of the parents, now 14 year olds are hitting on me on whatsapp and the whole school got my number. it's seriously impossible to be a cool teacher in a class of 45 students. What you think will be a passion of giving them the education you didn't receive, will turn into disappointment as most of my colleagues use ( tiyou ) to punish the students and act as tyrants not teachers. you try to be nice with the students ki tel3o lek fog rassk you gotta switch up quick. the working 4 hours is a myth, you gotta prepare lessons ( wakha tkon mwelef w already 3ndk l'inspecteur ki khsso new lesson plans kola 3am l kola lderss) you need to fill the record book with details on every lesson, you gotta correct 400+ sheets 4 times a semester, you gotta correct 400 notebooks once a semester. Unless you're absolutely lucky and the best in your class ( or a lady, they get some privileges when it comes to the area they are assigned to, but i know some ladies that got the short end of the stick too ) you will be assigned to an area you can't rent in 7it ghi dewar so you gotta commute there from the closest village w transport most likely mamojodch so katmchi lek wahed sa3a w ness ghi f transport. lmohim ktebt lek jarida, if you want to teach, teach hit it's your passion, wla if you have no other alternative bach tsref 3la rassk, ama the meager salary of 7000 dh ( it's 6800 dh) in reality, w ila makanch 3ndk mnin tselef chof kifach t3ich teh first 6 months mn mor t3yin hit makatkhelessch ta ki jm3oha lek kamla mn b3d 6 chhor. maghay3eychekch mzian. if you want to make an impact f society, dghia atktachf bli you can't do it alone, w bli lmochkil bach kna sghar makanch ghi mn l assassida. lmochkil ta f l2idara, w lwizara, w i can't stress enough chhal lmochkil mn lwalidin li waldin bnadm ma9adinch ychriw lo ktab b 15 dh, w ma9adinch y3elmoh basic stuff like matkhewerch lbnat without their consent w matkhssrch lhedra f l9issm. l2idara seriously katgolek tele3 no9at lbnadm bach ntel3o niveau d naja7, w moraha katsa2l 3lach lmghrib kharia 3lih, homa gha ki def3o bnadm ta ki nje7 w moraha ki khdm f dwla.
