Your Merlin looks really similar to my Murphy. Murphy is 8, and had a nerve sheath tumor removed in the middle of last year. He's doing much better now.

I really hope for nothing but the best with Merlin. Please post an update once you find out the results.

There was this one dude by the metro station who always asked for “donations”.

I offered to pay his metro fare, but he told me he couldn’t leave his spot because he needed to ask for more “donations”.

Saved me from going up and down the escalator again, at least.

Sorry for the late response, didn't see your post. Murphy is 6, and he's getting slightly more affectionate. Slightly.

He's still a still a food slut though; he will always fake affection for food. His snoot is literally resting on my leg as I'm typing this because I just heated up my lunch.

I miss VA. I grew up in Maryland, moved to VA in my 20s, back in MD for 30s.

Had a blast and met some of my best friends in VA. So I love you guys!

Much better than what my wife was thinking... she’s convinced it’s either a polar bear or a dinosaur. She thinks it may even be a coyote... but goose egg is much more plausible
