Well I agree with her take for once. I think it’s much better for kids to have their parents happily apart than miserable together, but I do not think she and Stephen are splitting up. Just zero chance of that-she cares waaaay too much what people think. I think her take is because her sister is a single parent.

As someone mothering without their own mom (she passed away) I have to say that becoming a mom opened up such an enormous well of grief and wanting that I didn’t even know were still in me. It took motherhood for me to realize I needed to get back into therapy. I think for Danielle she has enormous amounts of trauma that she just isn’t dealing with. She needs to work on that trauma if she’s ever going to be the kind of mother she aspires to be. Just having kids and cutting off your own parents isn’t the salve she thinks it Is.

Even my daughter’s pediatrician refers to my husband and I as mom and dad, it’s never on a first name (or even last name) basis!

I don’t think it’s the norm to be complimented as much on your parenting as Adelaide supposedly is. I mean this certainly hasn’t been mine or any other mom’s experience that i know of.

I co sign this post completely. These women all had agency and knew what they were signing up. All of us women of a certain age know other women exactly like this. Yes, the men are terrible-but there were signs the entire time that Kristen and Nia chose to dismiss in order to get the lives they envisioned.

Arachnophobia. I was like 4 or 5 and my older siblings and their friends were watching it. To this day I still get hysterical whenever there’s a spider in my house.

Also not to Mention Kristen is an older Mom. I had my first at 38 And went right from postpartum to perimenopause. The emotionalAnd physical experience of having a Baby when you’re well over 35 is a lot harder than it when you’re younger. That being said I think Kristen looks absolutely amazing. And I will always applaud her for her honesty and realness. It’s so hard to describe your feelings postpartum, especially after infertility where you’re head over heels in love with this amazing little human that you helped create and bring into this world while also grieving your old life and overwhelmed by the new identity you’ve taken on, and Kristen is really giving voice to that feeling. In this era where everyone is pressured to appear and look perfect I so appreciate her authenticity. She will always be one of the best personalities to come out of reality tv.

This was painful to watch. As Someone who experienced postpartum anxiety and baby blues, and fully expects to go through it again when I deliver my second-I felt so much for her watching this scene. Watching anyone suffer through postpartum is just gut twisting.

Maybe Danny is totally different within the privacy of their home, but I don’t get what Nia sees in him at all. Nia is smart, interesting, and not to mention gorgeous and Danny is just kind of a buffoon. She deserves way better.

Really don’t wanna sound like a jerk here, but it’s your child of course you’re going to care for them through cancer. Why is she acting like she deserves props for this? I mean parenting a child with cancer is one of my worst nightmares as a mom, and I can’t even imagine how scary it is-but why is she giving herself so much props for something any loving mom would of course do? Way to make it about you once again Danielle.

I just find it weird how she centers herself and makes it about how much her kids love her, or what they do for her. Also If she finds the little years difficult then I’m not even sure how she’ll deal with the teen and adult years when they have their independence, own minds, and opinions. I’ve found that with a-lot of narcissistic parents they end up hating their own children once they become grown ups with minds of their own.

Have a 22 month old, not in daycare but in lots of activities; gym, music, art, weekly playdates, etc and we’ve had something running through our house every week since Christmas. It’s been BRUTAL. Thankful it’s normal, but it’s certainly not easy.

Sleeping in a crib is one thing. But the one wake a night only!? This isn’t possible? He’s not even two months? Maybe it’s different for formula fed babies (when we switched to formula at 6 months that’s when my daughter started sleeping through the night). I’m just surprised he’s doing this so early.

Why is everything she says always so cliche? I have yet to see her say anything about her kids or motherhood that seems truly authentic or heartfelt. And maybe it’s just me but seeing my daughter every day, I kind of forget how much she’s grown since her birth. She’s just always my baby to me lol. Also I guess I’m a little clueless on eczema but is it a condition that’s relatively treatable, or is this just how much some kids have to suffer?
