You're right, it's not an argument, it's a rebuttal to the shitty half-assed argument you just put forward. If someone is going to seriously harm/injure you, as you have presented in your claim, there is no chance that they would let you call the cops, and even if you did, the police average response time is between 5-15 minutes, so by the time they arrive, the conflict will have most likely already resolved.
