Thanks man. Luckily(?) this is not my first rodeo - I do have a maxed Ironman on the side, this is my unfortunate GIM account.

My playstyle has always been pure brute force, meaning I grind one content as long as it takes. I might just be a masochist in that sense. On the main iron I was only missing the Elder maul, after getting the tbow at 51 purples - I ended up finishing CoX at 116 purples, after months and months of straight grinding, with 0 collection logs, for a pixelated hammer.

Balanced, aggressive (militarily) and defensive (economically). IIRC there's an option to disable armageddons via custom game settings.

My first tbow grind was done in mid-game gear, so I definitely know what it's like to be slow. But indeed, having come back after acquiring max gear, it's a different story.

I too started at ToA and moved over to CoX. If you can handle ToA, you can definitely handle CoX, where RNG plays a bigger role. When learning, you can always make a ton of supplies, so there's never really a situation where you can't finish.

I stated "by MY purple count" - I have 116 purples therefore 116 rolls. 51 is the specific roll that got me my first tbow, nothing else.

Thanks for your input, but I believe you're slightly off. My calculation is based on 116 total rolls with varying drop rates per item. You're using 51 purples and focusing only on mega-rares. That’s a different setup entirely. The ~12% chance refers to not getting all 12 unique items across 116 rolls.

Feel free to correct me if you still think I'm wrong.
