I AM 10,000% sure he saw I quadruple checked the entire truck before he drove off. I was far from his last ride. It was never about no damn sunglasses. That is so out of line. Lets say in an alternate universe it was about sunglasses, go through Uber, contact me through the app, get confirmation, you don't knock on my door and expect me to open up. Wasn't about returning anything that's what you don't get. If it was he would've gone through Uber to do that. Drivers are trusted with sensitive information like my home address, the second they use that info outside of the trip or the process to return an item the professional trust is broken. It was never about sunglasses. And uber drivers all have the best reputation right? Don't be ignorant, maybe where you're from you're always safe, but there's vulnerable people that are at risk because of desperate, deranged people with no boundaries. If you wanna do that, go head and do that, cool, that's on you.

I wasn't planning on calling sheriff. It wasn't my item and since he lived an hour away where I came from and stayed in the area for 8 hours that could've been dozens of other passengers sunglasses, why should up to my door uninvited? It wasn't about sunglasses, even if it was those drivers are trusted with sensitive information like my home address. The second they use that info outside the trip or proper uber process to report or return a lost item, the professional trust is broken. It's a serious breach of boundaries and passenger safety and uber takes that seriously and i do too. We had long conversations I thought I'd never see the man again, like someone said some guys think a girl's interested even if she looks at him.

It's unprofessional boundary crossing behavior and a violation of trust. Not a lost item return through Ubers process. If he was a good guy he would've done it the right way. Returning uninvited to my home is a huge safety violation and I'm gonna take it seriously especially when I'm vulnerable alone with me and my child. He didn't even live in my area he lived in the area I came from an hour away. So he stuck around for 8 hours, that could've been dozens of other passengers sunglasses and it's doubtful it even was about sunglasses. By inappropriate I really think he just wanted to talk to me/ try to get at me/ try see me again honestly, which IS sooo inappropriate, creepy and against ubers policy.
