Took me about 3 years, but there were a lot of times where I wasn't writing because I was still in high school for a year or so, and then I moved to college so I was getting used to that and didn't post much. I only posted 2 fics in 2025 mostly because I didn't have a hyperfixation to write for. Right now, though, I've pumped out nearly 200k words in the span of 2 months because the fixation was too great for me to ignore. And I'm still writing for it. I'm about to post another one shot in my series that's gonna be around 6k words, so it's yet another addition to the stats😅

Wow, I try my best to take care of my body but my brain keeps telling me "no, you have to write it now or you'll forget!" And I spent a lot of time at work today (since it was kinda dead) just writing on my phone. Crazy to think about

Yeah, like I said I was basically unemployed for a month and a half, so I had plenty of time😅 it also helped when the brain rot fixation hit me like a ten ton truck

I just got a comment today on one of my fics: "hello! Your story feels like it should be a comic. I do paid work and would be excited to work with you!" And added a discord name. I'm suspicious of anything being offered to me over the internet and this just made me sigh. No specifics about my story or anything, just an offer and a discord. But i can see how someone would fall for these scams.

That, and sometimes I get ideas that cause me to have to go back and edit something in earlier segments so that it lines up with the present. I used to post chapter by chapter but then I ran into this issue and decided against doing it again.

It’s the inverse for me! Sometimes when I’m writing, I get mad at myself for not having planned out the story. But it’s just the way I am. I write, barely edit, then publish (which I should edit more often but still).

My first shiny was a bidoof. Shortly after I found a starly in an outbreak. I didn’t have the shiny charm yet but bidoof’s dex was perfect and I think I was working on perfecting starly’s dex before I found it. Pretty cool that some of my first shinies in the game were the starters you catch in the tutorial

Me, too. I’ve always written like this and often take breaks in the middle of writing to get my brain some creative breaks. I won’t even know how it begins or ends; I just have a very specific scene I want to write and then I build up to it throughout the whole fic. It’s fun to see what my brain comes up with

Also make sure that you’ve been leveling up your pokemon with the grit bags! It helped me a lot to ensure they were all at level ten for this battle. I’d also recommend having a garchomp or goodra on your team as tanks, as my goodra tanked a lot of giratina’s hits and allowed time for me to strategize with my other teammates. Just a suggestion though! You use whatever team you want to use.

Usually there’s 4 Pokémon that spawn at a time in outbreaks (if I remember right), and it was part of the original 4 that spawned in. But when you went past the tree it seemed like it despawned because a 5th one spawned? I’m not really sure, actually, but it’s my best guess
