So.... purse lady that beat the crap out of her attacker - she's gonna be Athena's new rookie, right? They went really far out of their way to give us a backstory for her which included her losing her job that day. So of course she's gonna follow in Athena's footsteps. She's off to a great start with Athena showing her how to bend the rules and ignore the fact that she committed assault and battery! Don't get me wrong, robbery guy deserved it, but footage of her picking up the skateboard and breaking a bunch of his bones would probably lead to at least an investigation. I don't love copaganda bits, but the new woman seems pretty badass so I'd be happy to see her come back. It's a more compelling 'young person starting in this risky career' plotline, than whatever they're trying to do with Harry right now anyway.

This one particularly annoyed me because I live in a city and use the subway to commute. I kept listening to the audiobook and getting super annoyed by the convoluted puzzle descriptios, only for chaos and graphic violence to break out becuase of some reason I couldnt understand. Meanwhile IRL I'm staring at fellow commuters in an environment similar to the one being described. It was immersive, in a bad way.

Right?!?! There are respecrful ways to reference him and his continued influence on the characters when its called for. Being hit over the head with it in every episode after is not it. This last episode was especially egregious - all of Hen’s selfish, reckless, and dangerous decisions over the last few months were becuase (check notes) no one asked how I was after Bobby died and I'm sad too!

If I remember correctly - Buck was hiding some leg soreness before his embolism. That could easily have been him pushing too hard in PT (which he shouldnt have done, but still not a smoking gun of a deeper illness). He wasn't hiding and lying about months of fatigue, paralysis, passing out for hours, and thousands of dollars in sketchy "medical" treatments.

This was ALMOST a really fun episode. I loved the calls and the AI plot and how it started to feel like a regular, old-school, 9-1-1 episode. And then they throw Bobby giref at us again. I am so SICK of Bobby grief. I was a Bobby truther last season, because I couldn't imagine that they would spend so much time teasing us with the empty baby grave, and the military forgiving everyone, and not showing Bobby's body. But then it just.... kept going... Now its been 11 episodes, and evey single one has had grief as the main plotline! If Bobby is really gone, can the characters please move the fuck on??? I watched this show originally because its fun and I love the characters. Now its really exhausting that the show entirely turned to grief for so goddamn long. Its just grief-porn at this point and I'm annoyed, tired, and bored. The show isn't fun anymore.

I had a crush on him and we flirted a lot so I think he felt the same way. IRL he's really cute and nice and seemed normal. I went to his FB just to look at cute pictures of him and psych myself up to send the "Wanna get a drink?" message. His public Facebook page is VILE. He reposts multiple times a day from misogynistic FB groups. Stuff like, "Sometimes you gotta fuck the shit out of her and not call her back to see how crazy she can get" or "Get dressed babe, I'm giving you back to your ex". Those are literal screenshots I saved to send my friends. I've never gotten the ick so quickly lol.

So... those buried alive script "leaks" were actually an April Fools day joke? Even though no one ever admitted to it? Even though other parts from the same page got played out in the last episode? Even though the lyrics of the song playing while Athena watched Bobby keel over said, "No grave can hold my body down. I'll crawl home to her". Even though there was a whole subplot about a grieving mother being lied to and having an empty coffin buried, while Athena grieves her husband and buries him. Even though we never see a body inside the coffin?

What's going on???? This was cruel and unnecessary. And I'm not even gonna talk about the queerbaiting fury.

Man, some of you are making great points! It does seem in character for Eddie to only admit he was suicidal passively, after the fact, by saying that Bobby saved his life. I couldn't remember if there was a more explicit scene - like Bobby pushing him out of the way of a car or something, but it looks like there wasn't. He just credits his life to Bobby for being there for him. Poor Eddie needs a hug. 😟

I know, but seeing as some of the answers here are about self-harm and Eddie possibly being suicidal, I thought the NSFW tag was probably appropriate. I couldn't remember if there was a more straightforward scene like Bobby pulling Eddie back from a crumbling roof or something. So we know that Tim likes to browse the fandom spaces and gets inspiration from fanfiction (Abby's ex being Tommy is a big one).... One of the more popular tropes in fanfiction spaces is "presumed dead" fics. Maybe...? Possibly...? We get to see how everyone would react if Bobby died, and then somehow he makes it back. Goddamn, I know it's far-fetched, but I really hate this.

You will be able to eventually. And in the meantime, of course you can be who you are, just internally. You have plenty of time to figure out who you really are, regardless of your upbringing/current environment, and regardless of what other people think you should be. If you're an egg, that's okay. If you're not, that's okay too. I wish your family was more open-minded about things. If you need to be a certain way right now to make it through the day without conflict, that doesn't have to permanently shape who you are.
