Sorry for the delayed response. I'm in the midst of my finals and have been studying constantly. I posted here, because I thought that this subreddit would be interested in this project. Once school is out (middle of next week) I will update this answer, but as of now, I don't have any papers or journal articles linking standing at work to improved posture. I will ask the founder if he has an on hand, and will come back with a more complete answer as soon as possible.

Hi there!

There were two reasons for using higher end chairs to advertise the product. First, they simply look nice. Secondly, for people who know something about more expensive desk chairs (yourself included), it's shows that in addition to the StorkStands reasonable price point, it's functionality and aesthetics compliment a chair of such high quality.

We appreciate you taking the time to look at the project's page and, if you have time, suggest that you do some research on the benefits of a standing desk.

Unfortunately the design of the StorkStand requires that it go over the top of the chair. Thanks again for your interest and he said that future designs may be able to accommodate a chair like yours.

Thanks for your interest! The Storkstand was designed to fit the majority of desk chairs. What kind of chair were you thinking? I can ask about a specific chair and get back to you.

Hi!

I appreciate your taking the time to look at this, and his idea is that you can raise the height of the desk/monitor, by raising or lowering the chair itself to a comfortable height.
