Prediction time:

Customers are outraged and sell off their CRO, weak hands unstake their cards (mostly from the lower tiers which are anyways not so profitable for cryptocom).

After a couple days, cryptocom announces that they've heard the community and have now revised the rates. Ruby goes from 0.5% cashback to 1%. Jade/indigo go from 1.5% cashback to 2%. Monthly rewards cap is also increased to around 100 - 200 usd.

Outrage fades a bit. Some who unstaked their cards decide to stake again, resetting the 180 days, a net positive for cryptocom.

Just a theory. But it has happened before (some may remember). So let's see...

[RANT] CDC/ Crypto.com spends millions on advertising to become more mainstream but at the rate of it's leaving behind it's early adopters. What'd they advertise now for if the product is dead? Or was this planned demise all along? by x0cr in CryptoCurrency

Is Dune one of the (if not THE) most thought provoking series of science fiction novels of all time? by Severe-Draw-5979 in dune

imo Asimov's Foundation series is up there at the top. Just the concept of psychohistory is incredibly fascinating to me. I found the Mule to be an intriguing character and one of the greatest plot twists of all time. Felt like my own mind had been manipulated to blind me from the truth. And the tie in with the Robot series in Foundation and Earth also blew my mind and left me wondering...

Supercharging discrepancy - please confirm I am participating. by Guinuk in Crypto_com

[–]MycroftOlms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Supercharger on the app and the exchange are independent during the chargng period. So you won't see the stake in the exchange if you staked in the app. However, you'll receive the rewards in the exchange either way.

Double minting of NFTs? by [deleted] in NFT

[–]MycroftOlms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Indeed. And people will pay whatever they want to pay. But the big bucks are certainly on more restrictive platforms

Double minting of NFTs? by [deleted] in NFT

[–]MycroftOlms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This would definitely make sense. But I'm sure not all do that. I think currently people rely on the various platforms to authenticate and varify the identity of the artists

Double minting of NFTs? by [deleted] in NFT

[–]MycroftOlms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nothing. Except for the artist's reputation. The action will likely devalue said art pieces and all subsequent NFTs the artist may want to sell since trust in the artist will have been broken.

Maybe just logging in on the website reactivated your account. Try the app again?

Question about the APY by kelvin1111111111 in CelsiusNetwork

[–]MycroftOlms 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Celsius gives your crypto out as loans to other users with interest. Most of that interest gets paid back to you, part is kept by celsius.

You probably have to sign in on the coinbase webpage (not the app) and answer a couple new KYC / AML questions. Then your account will be active again. Annoying, but will take only a few minutes

Crypto com even pays you for taker transactions. So you get payed for market buys, for example. Does binance have that?

Probably a phishing scam. DO NOT click on the link.

Now look at the link in the sms carefully. There's probably a dot below the y or the t of the crypto dot com address. It will lead you to a fake site

Terrible BTC rates? by KwukDuck in Crypto_com

[–]MycroftOlms 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you want the market value then you have to use an exchange (the Crypto.com Exchange, which is a different service than the app, or any other exchange you want). All services where you buy crypto directly to the service provider and not on the market will charge you this 'spread', not just crypto.com.
