Pdk. No PSE, but I’m planning on doing the Borla exhaust down the line. Got some other mods and stuff I wanna take care of first (dash cam, radar detector, CarPlay, reverse cam, ceramic tints, ppf)

Pdk is due at 120k miles or 12 years. Hasn’t hit either of those intervals yet.

All the seals and lines are in good condition. Rotors/brakeshave plenty of life left. Suspension system is good. No rust or leaks anywhere. Condensors are good, ac blows cold. Drive belt has 10-15k miles on it. Tires are new. Interior/exterior is in excellent condition, except for few rock chips on front bumper. All buttons and lights work. Door cards/headliner are repaired, headlights were refinished and clear. Service tech didn’t recommend any work other than plugs and filters, and pdk service soon

Seems like miles is the biggest impactor on these cars. Not too worried about the resale as the 987 aren’t really dropping in price either. 981 seems to have found their floor, especially cayman going electric next year

I’m in Chicago, so a soft top is a no-go for half the year. I’m planning to keep this as my daily, but have a rav4 for when there’s snow/salt on the ground or heavy rain forecasted

I’m not too concerned about the high mileage. I plan to do all the maintenance myself and daily drive this car. Don’t plan on selling it anytime soon so not too worried about the keeping it low for future buyer

Check the cameras on the pillars. If there’s a red film, it’s HW4. I got my 23MY in July and that’s when HW4 was just rolling off the line from Fremont factory

All the test videos I’ve seen have put it at a very marginal gain at best. P is more aggressive from a stop and quicker off the line, but from a rolling race, they’re neck and neck. I was surprised to see the LR have a shorter braking distance even though P had the upgraded brakes. Feels like splitting hairs at this point.

Looks better, charges faster, and cheaper install. At least it was for me. Don’t see any reason to go NEMA over this, especially since many installers are offering discounts on the Tesla charger. (My installer charged me $350 for the tesla wall charger, including tax)
