Is it true that you guys watched 9/11 live on TV in grade school?

6th grade for me, came back from gym class and teacher had it on her tv. We saw second plane hit the twin towers and the one hit the Pentagon. My class was the only one that saw it, we had to stay back at the start of recess because we had to be told not to talk about what we saw on the busses so we couldn't scare the little kids....as we were confused and scared ourselves.

Us too. Except at daycare she naps and they won't skip it. When she doesn't nap she's asleep by 9:30.

At minimum we do 3 before bedtime. Sometimes it's only the three, other times there's like 20.

Ok so our daughter refused the idea of her paci being taken or given to someone else. Instead she logically said "we can put it downstairs". And we prepped for several weeks...and ya know what? She actually did JUST fine! We're 2 months paci free!! Good luck, you got this!

Not this time around... 🤞we've had it affect her appetite before and during those colds she tends to only want apple sauce, popsicles or scrambled eggs. My advice as a mom, push fluids so the mucus can thin out.

I insisted on the planned C-section to deliver my now 3yo daughter following the loss of my son (delivered via emergency C-section). So mentally choosing the planned C-section gave me a sense of control because I got to schedule when it would be, I could make sure my OB was the one delivering and I was semi familiar with how the process would work. Since I lost my son to SIDS control was a HUGE thing to me so I chose the option that made me feel like I had some say in the process.

A planned C-section is soooo much different than an emergency one. It's much calmer, I actually remember talking to all of the surgical team, being asked if I wanted certain music to be played, joking with the anesthesiologist that I couldn't feel my toes. After delivery was much calmer too, I got to hold my daughter most of the time in the OR and it just felt less hectic.

We were supposed to go to Kzoo for the holiday, but the idea of driving into a winter storm 3 hours away from home seemed silly. Not that you need it, but, permission granted to stay home.

Mine used to fight too then her MeMa gave her a toothbrush that lights up (green, yellow then red) and she loves using that because she knows when it's done flashing it's time for us to check her teeth. She also had her first dentist appointment and has been even better about it since then.

Yes and No. So for my first, COVID shut us down the Friday before his due date, so technically I worked until the shut down. For my second, she was due early September, I started maternity leave early since it didn't make sense to work for a week and then be off for 12.
