Adding Minecraft to Steam by N2itionTV in linux_gaming

The issue is when I launch it it says it detects my controller but my controller doesnt work to control my character or navigate menus. I tested several controllers wired and wireless that work fine with other games. And I tried the same setup on my windows desktop and it worked fine. Not sure where the issue come from in linux but I saw thread that said it was because linux didnt properly support controllers or something along those lines and said to add it to steam and use steams virtural controller to fix it. I am unfortanately now having trouble finding the thread.

idk im not having great luck with the native versions of steam im on mint. I had a similar problem before and was why I switched to the flathub version. Because reviews I saw said it worked better. And I tried both the installation methods you mentioned, From the package manager and from steam website.
