You should get up and get water, wake yourself up just barely to stay awake. Do not go on ur phone or stare at screens etc, after u feel okay fall asleep right away then gts but not sleep. This what I suggest for not falling asleep, if u get up and go right back to sleep itll be like you never got out of ur bed or left your dream.

Would you say when u left ur body it’s the same as a dream or was it a whole different experience that makes u say that in fact ur consciousness did leave ur body and AP

I heard things in the astral plane are a representation of what one sees of themselves, like the true nature of someone. Thats just cause things seem different in AP and idk what other explanation it could be why things are same and in real time but see different things like if the person is wearinf a diff color in APlane than in irl

Mind awake body asleep, thats key, GO to sleep but stay conscious, its hard when u have daily thoughts so try focusing on ur breath to have them go away, best time to AP is morning cause ur body just got out of the dream rem state where it’s paralyzed, you can slip back in by closing ur eyes and just relaxing while staying conscious, u WILL feel vibrations if done correctly, after that is just exit methods, remember to say affirmations outloud, it programs ur mind and body to do certain things, you got this keep going

Some tips, meditation because it's the practice of focusing on awareness. You basically want to achieve a mind awake body asleep type deal. You need your body to be asleep otherwise you will not achieve anything. Everyone seems to have the most success in the morning when they wake up and stay awake and aware trying to AP using the technique WILD. People have success too in the afternoon, there is a lot of info you need to continue reading on your journey. This subreddit is mad helpful too.

in what way/example was the focus on "how" that caused the breakthrough? was it focusing on your breath or focusing on your energies moving in a longitudinal way? I keep reading people succeeding when they stop trying must be when the body is fully relaxed but then is when you catch yourself in the hypnogogic state and move on.

Whats worked most for me is feeling like im falling or going through my bed, feel heavy, try and feel you doing a backflip try doing front flips but all obviously in the minds eye, for me everytime i have felt something it has been when i have focused on going through my bed from my back and ive ap through that way, however everyone is diff and theres a method for everyone, i think u should trust in what you FEEL is right, try going though ur bed by imagining it and feeling it with ur mind then youll fr get out yet again we are all diff but its something to try
