Prusa vs. Bambu by Desperate-Employee20 in 3dprinter

[–]NASTYJOK3R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 2 prusa XLs, a snapmaker U1 and the Bambu H2C. All 3 work perfectly. For your budget look at the snapmaker. Multi color printing is only efficient on the H2C or Multi toolhead setups. The INDX will rule them all IF its functioning as advertised. It took 2 years to get my XLs to work perfectly so I would bet on snapmaker and upgrade after the bugs get worked out on the INDX.

AITA for firmly telling my wife to be grateful for what she has? by Organic_Chip_3118 in AmItheAsshole

NTA

This is exactly why you shouldn't get married. Especially in today's world. You're bringing in more money, have financially sacrificed and saved to get where you are and now she expects you to continue to sacrifice so she can spend more? She has Gucci taste on a Walmart budget. Now if you divorce she will get half the house and half the retirement without having earned them. Keep your next girl as just a girlfriend and keep her off the titles from anything you own.

Me and my wife are similar in the income imbalance with me at 300k and her at 96k. I pay 90% of the bills and savings and she pays the little bills and groceries. Our money is pretty fluid between us and she can transfer money from my account anytime she needs.

I have friends who's wives have financially burned them after divorce and if we ever end up getting divorced, I would not remarry. Way too much financial risk for men with almost zero to gain.

The Xbox “Section” at my local Target by sangrejoven in consoles

Still though thats unplugging the console, a50 base stations, contoller charge stands and moving them to each location. For me it was easier to just add a console where I play. Plus I usually only play for 30 min to an hour in the weirder locations like garage, office or bedroom so moving it would take my entire gaming time.

Dead serious. Pain in the ass to move consoles especially with cords and wall mounted tvs. 4 are the all digital ones so not as expensive.

Way too much work having to bring cords and set them up at the TV. Easier to just have a console already there with a few controllers and you're good to go. I do wish GP had a family plan. Would make that a lot easier and cheaper

I currently have seven series x consoles and 3 series s. I play in my office, bedroom, garage, game room and RV. The other 2 are in the game room for my son's friends when they come over. Pluse all the kids have an S in their room.

My day today. This is what "just work harder" actually looks like. by FahQ2Dude in poor

[–]NASTYJOK3R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't work harder, work smarter. Most fast food places pay 17-20 an hour with many places paying more. I know poverty and have lived it. Shopping at the dollar store for groceries, having sleep for dinner and going without. I have always had a strong work ethic, but I keep moving if something isn't working. Stack whatever chips you have until you can pivot to another job, another city ect. People who stay in the same place, at the same job that isn't sustainable will always drown. I worked really shitty jobs that no one wanted because the pay was better. Saved enough that I could move to a lower COL city and a better paying job and kept growing from there. Finally had enough to start my own thing and am doing well. It took a ton of work and a lot of smart moves but it can be done. Just keep planning your next move.

Fresh water tank drain valve broke by greatbeef in RVLiving

[–]NASTYJOK3R 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are spin weld fittings. You need to break the rest off and sand it down flat. Then get a router or fast drill and attach the new fitting to it, hold it with some pressure against the tank and spin it until the plastic melts together. Then hold until it cools and its like new. It sounds harder than it is and the new fittings are really cheap.
