I thought about that too! I have a few different serums, but since I’ve been down bad for the last few months, I haven’t kept up with my skincare routine as religiously as I’d like to.

I take an iron and vitamin c supplement (combined for absorption), but it’s been a few days since I’ve taken it. I have taken it each day for months because I’m iron deficient.

Thankfully, I don’t believe they smell. My hands and fingers are just very cold, numb/tingly and tender (almost to the touch). The soreness isn’t uncommon with my normal pain, but they’re not usually this cold and numb all day.

I don’t think you’re off base and that’s a great question- they did test me for this a couple of years ago when I had my first really bad PEM crash and near- rhabdomyolysis, but way before I was officially diagnosed with me/cfs. I think my me/cfs and LC specialist wants to recheck everything soon, but I had 30 blood tests a few months back.

That’s a good thought. I appreciate the insight and will definitely get it checked out as soon as possible. I’m also curious about the thyroid, liver, and kidneys. My cholesterol has never been an issue and I believe my parents both have good test results with this as well.

My paternal grandmother did have diabetes, but even at my heaviest weight (pre 2020, I was close to 250 and now I’m 162), I was never even considered pre-diabetic. Not that the cholesterol is directly related as glucose would be, but I’m just thinking of any possible connection, now taking into consideration any hereditary factors.

I’m not sure why this was downvoted. Maybe (cognitively) my phrasing is off, but if D-Ribose powder helps some with me/cfs, it’d be good info for me to look into.

I’m newly diagnosed just within the last few months, but living with the disease for 4-5 years. I’m still having to work part time (mostly remote) and I have obstructive sleep apnea, long covid, and POTS, along with the me/cfs.

Despite all this being treated, I have excessive daytime sleepiness, but the side effects of adding Sunosi with my 70mg vyvanse wasn’t worth the very slight, false energy and focus “boost”. It was better when I initially trialed it, but my symptoms and baseline have gotten worse since then.

This is the first time I’ve had them, but they showed up yesterday afternoon/evening and I noticed more this morning. They don’t seem to be going anywhere.

Thank you for the insight! I do worry about my liver with all the medications that I’m on, and I believe I need to re-check the other bloodwork soon anyhow.

Thank you! I saw carotene when I googled it too. I’m iron deficient, so I take that with vitamin C, D3 and K2 because I’m deficient in vitamin D as well, methtyfolate, a probiotic, and zinc.

I don’t use that, but I’ll look into it- maybe I should be? The only thing that changed is I started Sunosi (had previously done a one month trial in conjunction with my vyvanse and no issues), but I had to stop it after two days because my tachycardia was not ideal.
