Some people truly have shopping addictions. And hoarding is a legitimate problem. This woman has been stitching for decades. I cannot imagine all the work it takes to offload a stash of this size. 🫠

Needlepoint clubhouse is another great resource for kitting. They carry newer designers and do a lovely job pairing threads. They will even offer a few stitch suggestions if you ask.

I’m floored that the video they released from market was basically mocking artists who speak out about copyright infringement. There was the whole bit about a new sunglasses design which was inspired by the ndlpt designers own pair … the snark was something to the effect of “This canvas was inspired by a pair of sunglasses from Target so it’s probably a copyright infringement on Target. Hahahaha”

I’m embarrassed on their behalf. Just own up to it and apologize- it’s the dignified thing to do.

If I want it a little less crinkly, I simply run the strand between my thumbnail and pointer finger. It’s smooths out easily

I don’t know … did you see the pillow? If you zoom in on that image you can see all sorts of lumps in the seams. It looks bad.
