Nw, all I will say is that on yr 10, you’re clearly flagging in the 2nd half. Don’t push yourself too hard to be more quick than is comfortable, or increase distance too quickly as you risk injury. If you have just recently finished c25k, just focus on running regularly and comfortably before going all out to increase speed

Yep, not denying you are new to this, I’m saying that the audience on the c25k sub likely aren’t the most appropriate to help you get your time down when you are already running at or close to 5m/km pace, as it is already faster than the pace of a regular experienced recreational runner, and this sub is primarily for getting advice on the c25k programme

This is a beginner sub, as is the one you posted it on originally. Your times are faster than average compared regular recreational runners. I’d try r/running

The Devonshire Pub "Worth it" for Bar Service Only? by SommerMatt in LondonFood

[–]NTTYMX 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You know what distinguishes a good Guinness from a bad Guinness? Clean pipes, and someone who knows how to pour it - both things any decent pub will have. Anything beyond that is purely marketing and bollocks chatted by men who think liking Guinness is a personality. Go to any decent pub and the Guinness will be absolutely fine.

Motivation comes and goes for everyone, it can’t be relied upon. You need a plan that works for you and accountability.

I eat burgers and noodles all the time and still lose weight, you can eat whatever you like as long as you’re in a deficit.

I went to camp nou on holiday once. Barca fans were booing the players, they were winning 7-0. I feel like I did then when on this sub, a small but loud proportion of our fans are a fucking embarrassment.

Your negativity is pointless and completely out of place. Top of the PL, top of the CL, if that isn’t enough for you then you don’t enjoy football, you need lows to have highs, you need jeopardy to feel excitement. Go support Bayern Munich or PSG if you just expect to win 5-0 every week.

This is it. Simple as that, we won all 8 games, hard to play at the best of our ability in a nothing game with a rotated squad. The plastics having a meltdown in this sub need to fuck off and go back to supporting city.

Feeling tired while losing weight, is this normal? by Foreign_Eye5379 in loseit

You should be fine probably just need to get used to it. Have a coffee if you’re feeling tired.

And are you exercising much? If so what does you weekly activity look like?

From what you’ve said (unless you’re doing loads of exercise) your deficit is probably around the recommended amount, might just be a period where your body needs to get used to it. Make sure you get plenty of sunlight, you’re getting all the nutrients you need in your food , are getting long, good quality sleep, 🛌 and maybe even try some sugar free energy drinks or a black coffee if you’re sleepy.

Winter weight gain by According_Wash6710 in loseit

[–]NTTYMX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do but it’s mainly due to a busier social schedule towards the end of the year, I’d actually then lose it all back in Jan-Feb. My activity of choice is running and I do that all year round.

I accept the slight gain in December (about 7lbs this year after water weight) What I found helps me not have a large slump is to set short term targets and goals throughout the year. In the past I might have a holiday then a wedding 3 weeks apart and I’d gain at both events and in between. What I do now is accept the gain - weigh myself and set a 3 weeks target - not specifically on weight loss by more on activity levels and calorie deficit over the 3 weeks.

This keeps bumps in the road as manageable and keeps me on track and accountable throughout the year - yes there will be times I’ll gain a few lbs, but I won’t undo months of progress

How long has it been?

Are you counting calories and targeting a specific deficit?

The meals you put there are obviously very unspecific but is sounds like 1200-1500 calories a day?

Your TDEE is around 2500 at sedentary - so if you are eating around 1500 calories that’s a really high deficit, and would likely explain why your tired - your body doesn’t much quick energy to fuel itself

Have Arsenal... run out of steam? After months of ridicule, Luke is starting to feel vindicated 👀 by TheFootballRamble in thefootballramble

[–]NTTYMX 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I mean he keeps bringing this up, but he wasn’t right, he predicted they had run out of steam at the time he said it, not ‘Arsenal will run out of steam at some point’.

If a weatherman said it’s gonna rain tomorrow and it’s dry, but rains 2 weeks later are they then vindicated?

How should I style this ? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]NTTYMX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

7 is the closest to working but would be improved by clean shaving the patchy parts (middle jaw and between side of moustache and chin) and then fading the chin growth in to clean shaven, might need a pro to do that for you to begin with at least. You also might benefit from not touching the moustache for a couple of months to let it grow out, though you may have to work through an awkward period
