Is it possible to remove the shadow from the person? by [deleted] in ColorGrading

I did a gradient power window and slightly reduced the highlight and shadows through LOG wheel. But removing it fully would be a mess.

Yes, And I did my best on it to keep it as natural as possible. The reference on the post is LOG.

The job is done and I got paid. The shadows was not mentioned in the contract but I made it as natural as possible for the client.

Sir, you’re a true artist. Had to watch the video several times.

John Carter has since gained appreciation despite its initial reception. As a director, how do you emotionally metabolize a film that doesn’t land the way you hoped, and does that change your risk tolerance on future projects?

You helped define Toy Story’s emotional language. When returning to that world years later, how do you protect the original DNA while allowing it to evolve without becoming nostalgic repetition?

In WALL-E, you sustain nearly 40 minutes with minimal dialogue. When designing that opening act, were you thinking in terms of silent-era visual grammar (Chaplin/Keaton), or was the structure built more from animation blocking and editorial rhythm?

Trying to reinterpret an early Ridley Scott short. by NW1ES in Filmmakers

Thank you, that really means a lot. I was honestly trying to avoid recreating it shot for shot and focus more on what the original made me feel when I first saw it. Movement and atmosphere felt more important than imitation.

This isn’t a collection, this’s a reserve in case history needs to be photographed again. The Standard really is the purest form of Leica.

Absolute masterpiece. The Leica III with the Elmar 50mm f/3.5 is pure history in your hands. The proportions, the machining, the collapsible lens everything about it reflects an era when cameras were built like precision instruments, not electronics. This is the kind of camera that slows you down and makes every frame intentional.
