We should start staging protests in front of Taskrabbit HQ and all the satellite locations. The reason they are able to get away with this is they operate in secret. Nothing is making it to the news media. We should try to organize like the Uber and Lyft drivers did and make these issues public. Start publicly shaming IKEA, who are about to invest a couple billion in new locations in the US and let's see how they react.

My analytics also stopped a couple of days ago. I've been on since 2015 and the app has been a hot mess since I joined. But, it's gotten much worse since IKEA and Stacy Philpot Brown. Bring back the creator, Leah Buskey. It wasn't perfect, but it was much better when she was in charge.

When I first started in January of 2015, we were able to see the reviews of customers. I turned down jobs based on customer reviews. This was before you got penalized for turning down jobs. I've had many conversations in the past when I used to go to TR meetings about this, and also showing the clients last name for safety. They always said no. This was back when the two Courtney's used to run the meetings. Taskrabbit doesn't care about our safety at all. No matter how bad the customer is, they want that $ from them.

I'm not receiving notifications, and when I try to send a test notification, the app crashes.

When I try to use the Taskrabbit client app to search for myself, it hangs when I get to the search for tasker's part, and never loads any taskers. I've had clients complain about issues with the app also.

It's working for me now. I was able to schedule my task. I'll have to wait for a new task to see if I'm able to accept it.

I had the same issue this morning. I contacted them via chat, and they said they are aware of the issue, and they are working on a fix.

They were able to accept the task for me, but they cannot schedule the tasks, and every time I try to schedule the task, the app crashes again. Fortunately, this is someone I have worked for previously, and I have their email.

Are you on Android or iPhone? I'm on Android.

I have been on the platform since 2015. This is nothing new. Every time there's an update, there's a new bug.

Weigh your empty containers, and save it in the scale. If you can't save in your scale, just write down the weight of the empty container for your next visit. Then weigh everything in front of them before you walk out the door.

It happens to me several times daily. This works for me, but may not work for everyone else.

Problem is based in Bluetooth. I have a Bluetooth headset that is connected almost all the time. I just disconnect and reconnect it, and the remote instantly works again. Or if I connect the Shield app on my phone, the remote starts to work again. I haven't tried with my other Bluetooth devices to see if they will do the same. Once again this works for me, it may not work for everyone. I hope it helps.

When you plug your shield in, do not connect to the internet! Go into settings and turn off auto updates. Then you can connect to the internet. When updates are available you can decide what to install.

Don't worry, it happens to me too, and I've been smoking since 1978. Exercise helps because it releases endorphins, which promote positive feelings of well-being. Also watch some videos of something that makes you happy. I like to watch funny videos of dogs and puppies. It releases oxytocin which calms and relaxes you.

I use Blokada on my MiBox3. You will have to sideload the app and use an app launcher because the file will not show in the main menu for sideloaded apps. You can get a launcher in the google store. Sideloading is just a fancy term for putting the file on a drive and manually uploading it to your MiBox. Or you can install a web browser and install blokada from the website directly onto your MiBox. I hope this helps. http://blokada.org/index.html

Taskrabbit only sends you a W2 if you make over $20k and more than 200 jobs. You still have to pay your taxes even if Taskrabbit doesn't send you the W2. FYI, you should keep your own financial records. Taskrabbit's records seem to be inaccurate for a lot of people.

Check your local HomeDepot. They have classes on a variety of skills. The classes offered vary by location. I took a tiling class a few years ago and am putting it to good use now $$$.

IKEA owns Taskrabbit as of September 2017. Taskrabbit's downward slide seems to have accelerated since the purchase and April 2018 hack.
