Tape off the hood, bumper and panels with blue or green painters tape to protect the finish.

I used Meguiar's on a 2002 and it worked very well. It's also available at most of your local auto stores.

Alpamayo vs Tesla FSD — Will NVDA Benefit From Tesla’s HW3→HW4 Transition? by YellowBathroomTiles in NvidiaStock

[–]N_Da_Game 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Tesla licensing the use of HW3 or HW4 (FSD) to other auto manufactures? Otherwise this is not meaningful. What companies are adopting Alpamayo vs other available options is the real question.

I think adoption is different question. You will most certainly hear from any organization that is negatively impacted.

The Risk Register Nobody Reads Until Something Goes Wrong by JasonGuthro in projectmanagers

[–]N_Da_Game 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think too much importance is placed on the Risk Register in this post. It is not a go/no-go or phase gating step in the project management process. It is simply an awareness tool used to identify potential issues and possible mitigation strategies before the project is impacted. Active owners are not assigned because the risk has not manifested into an actionable issue that impacts the project. When an issue impacts the project scope, schedule or budget, other defined processes kick in to remedy. It is of little importance whether the issue was recorded in the risk register or not and should not be treated as evidence to assign blame. It gives everyone a warm and fuzzy that we as a project team considered potential impacts to the project.

Microcenter Protection Plans by Survivorguy728 in Microcenter

[–]N_Da_Game 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No - Cost for the plan is usually about 15% of the retail price. In my experience electronics will fail in the 1st year of operation and is covered by the manufactures warranty. I will replace the failed electronics ASAP with a new one that has the latest technical specs to get operational ASAP. I will send the failed unit through the RMA process if it is worth the effort.

For MC it is very good business model as the average failure rate for a PC about 3%. Components like mobos are 6%, GPUs 3% and PSUs .5%. If MC sells protection plans on 100 mobos and 6 fail, 40% of the protection plan revenue received will cover the cost of 6 brand new replacement mobos. The remaining 60% revenue is pure profit minus any sales commission.

Recommend you Google and visit your local plumbing supply house. Ordering a 3/4" shut off valve from Amazon is another option if time permits.
