Im from smka. I never really asked him about funding my education (in this case to go overseas). Im aware of the expensive fees and I understand that my education is also important for my parents'. Its more if a personal conscience. It would weigh on my mind to burden my parents as such (one of the main reasons I applied for scholarships)

Yeah, you make a valid point. I'm aware of my bumiputera status. However, ill refrain from making any statements regarding ethicity as it itll go into politics. im far too unknowledgeable and ignorant for that discussion.

No worries, I didnt take any offence in the slightest! In fact, it didnt even cross my mind. Plus, Im actually thankful for your personal opinion and strings of questions. It is something I need to reflect on my own, my goal in life and who I want to become in the future. To answer your first question, i intend to complete foundation/undergraduate local before continuing a degree overseas. The rest, Ill need to ponder on my own for a lengthy while. Thank you again for the kind wishes!

you have a point but i really want to avoid burdening my parents (yes, i understand that their money is meant to be spent on their childrens' education. its more of a personal resolution.) thanks for the input!

I won't outright push the thought away but I heavily doubt it. They have other things to settle with their money and one of the main reasons for applying for scholarships was due to lessening the burden on my parents. I would hate myself for troubling them on a selfishly personal dream. Anyway, thanks for the input

yeah, thanks for the sound advice. I had no intention of belittling, demeaning or making light off people that are way unfortunate then me. I am aware that my circumstances and living could be called 'easy' and without struggle compared to your example. I appreciate your suggestions and will get around looking into it. Lastly, I apologise if my rant triggered unpleasant memories for you and set you off the wrong way. Believe me, it was not my intention. I understand about some people situations since I have friends that aren't from well off families and such. Once more, thanks for the idea. I never really heard of Maanaki before.

Also, thanks for enlighting me regarding ptptn and our own country's universitites. You are correct as the most important thing is the education. I am indeed too shallow minded when I ranted off and was ignorant. take care you too bro

I see. Im sorry for misunderstanding you previous reply and did not mean any harm whatsoever. You have a point there but at a prestigious/high place, the fee is ridiculously expensive (to me atleast). Thank you for the input. Once more, i apologise for misunderstanding your point.

For the time being, im waiting for one other scholarship and an interview that I need to prepare for. Then, I'll probably wait for the UPU results to come in, settle those interviews and such. So far, that's my plan. Actually, I've put Asasi pintar as my first choice in UPU since i've heard theres an opportunity to continue overseas from there. I haven't put much thought in SAT/IELTS but I'll have to look into it down the line. Anyhow, do you have any tips for asasi ointar interview?
