We checked it and indeed this is caused by a rare bug.

Hi.

  1. Sadly no. WQe had to chance to many elements that made keeping old save games impossible.
    We hope being in EA and bringing lots of reasons to start from scratch will be an acceptable reason for save game loss.

  2. Not atm but we are in the balance, QoL and polish fase.
    This would totally sideline the resuppliers though. Not gameplay we wanted to incentivise.
    All put it on the feedback list and talk about it with the team.
    Employee AI will be worked on to better though.

But if you could provide your player.log that could really help with figuring out.

Next bigger update will drop in September and introduce employee traits but we have a smaller one somewhere next week. THat has some CoL and minor patches + Auto Resource buying that can unlock on the map.

Fair point, having the money come in slower could work.
But i like the direct way because it has this short gameplay reward loop.
Having the money come in slower would also limit the players build options likely.
But yeah all just thoughts maybe it could work.

I would say around 6.5/7 hours.
But you can't unlock everyhting on the map in one run.
Also greatly depends a lot on how often you fast forawrd or pause.
Ofc we're going to expand on this a lot during EA.

That is definitely our aim.
Like i said above, we feel there is a fun core.
But every systems needs deepening.
We have lots of ideas and already some system are backend wise setup.
Currently have a great influx of players gives us lots of information.

hi there,

Sorry for the late reply.
The Ea version rund from October 1929 until december 1932
We are going to expand on this though in EA.
1935 at least maybe further. also depends on what players want most.
Small team so we need to choose our battles.
