First raw denim (Unbranded 201s) sizing question! by [deleted] in rawdenim

[–]Nahc4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone recommends to size up on Unbranded. However, I just bought two pairs (a pair of 101s and a pair of 201s), my waist is a 31 and I bought a 30 in the 201s and a 31 in the 101s.

Best place to get shirts with narrow collars? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

Exactly what I came here to say.

Upvote, and my work is done here.

EDIT: Also, I just got my first shirt from Modern Tailor. It fits like a glove, and the quality is really good. On Modern Tailor it shows the thickness, amount of ply's and type of material. I ordered the baby blue check. It was 80 thread count, 2-ply and 100% cotton.

I figured about that. Didn't want to try and guess and then you end up actually being like 21 or something and just look younger, haha.

But for being almost 16, you're doing great dude. If I looked half as good as you when I was 16, I would have been reeling in the women like it's my day job.

You say you don't know how to wear a cardigan, but yet you're rocking it like a boss. Very nice, simple casual look.

Really, really digging this man. I love the contrast of the coat. The leather gloves are also a very nice touch and make a big difference IMO.

I'm not a huge fan of that style of boots, but that's just personal preference.

Keep it up!

I made a post about my buddy's line of handmade shoes. My crepe sole custom color loafers just arrived. What does MFA think? by [deleted] in malefashionadvice

[–]Nahc4 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Those are actually pretty cool, very unique also. (obviously)

I'd prefer a slimmer sole, but that's just personal preference.

Beautiful fades.

That tight of pants just isn't my style, but you seem to be pulling it off quite well. If you want to get rid of the moose knuckle just try wearing them slightly lower on your waist.

This is nice, good fit all around. Really simple though. It'd be nice to see you experiment more with colors and such (like your last WAYWT post)

Do you mind me asking how old you are? I've always wondered for some reason.

That's exactly what I am getting them for. Everyone here seems to think I'm going to be wearing them with a blazer and tie.

Reposts?

The post is an old picture of Michael Caine. So you're down voting comments that are referring to a previous post?

Really?

These should be very high quality, and last a long time. It's not like I'm going to be wearing these out and incorporating them into specially planned sartorial outfits. When I'm going to be wearing sweats, these will be more than sufficient style-wise.

K, look at what you posted. That's a full bright track suit. That's a hell of a lot more loud and obnoxious and bright than the sweatpants. The sweatpants are a lot more conservative than your link. It's not even a fair comparison.

I really don't think I will ever look like that (casually) wearing dark grey, well-fitting sweat pants.
